This picture is weird.
Yeah, but... we can't see his bat... and Mark's looking the other way like... uhh okay that's enough of that these are my favorite baseball players I'm thinking about...

Threesome then??? I don't think Gordon is down with the monkey business.

This picture is weird.
I also like how they make Gordon look bigger, taller, and studlier then the other guys.

Because we cannot see Jermaine's bat.

Dye, Thome, Linebrink + others Available
At this point I really hope something goes down. Let's get someone else some at bats. I love Jimmy, and I thought if he could hit #570 this season that he should stick around and try to pop another 30 next year... but it's not gonna happen. Jimmy's gonna have to play into 2011 to hit 600 homers. Dye was one of my favorite Sox but he appears to have lost it. Let's trade them.

Question
Yeah. That.

Have the Sox quit?
AT this point I'm hoping for 3rd place and mm m to get the best pick possible next years draft.

White Sox/Yankees
Change up up to Swisher. Not too long before the Yankees bust this one open.
-
White Sox/Yankees
That's bulls***. That perfect game was his opportunity to take in a world of confidence and ride it to a Cy Young. Instead he's just a clone of Jarrod Washburn. Hoo-f***ing-ray.

White Sox/Yankees
Mark, when did it become so hard to pitch low in the zone? Did you throw so many perfect change ups against TB that you just completely lost it??
-
White Sox/Yankees
Gawd I'm gone 2 minutes and Buehrle f***ing implodes. That perfect game could be one of the worst things to happen to our season....
-
White Sox/Yankees
I said Sox Your gonna drive me to drinking if you dont stop playing like lame ass cretins
-
White Sox/Yankees
Wow. Isn't it obvious Sabathia is gonna throw breaking balls to get out of it???

Twins acquire Mahay and Rauch
Mahay??? Why do we get the Royals garbage but the Twins get Mahay??? Kinda wish we were in 3rd. We probably would have claimed him. Damn Twins.
-
White Sox/Red Sox
Oh it feels so much better to win! Let's go play hard against those Yankee guys! If anyone can, we can!

White Sox/Red Sox
"suicide shrug"? is Bacon losing his faith in this "team"? I am so an advocate of surrounding Bacon with his teammates from Charlotte and Birmingham. Most of our vets can just take a hike.

Important Quotes from KW and AJP
I've had enough power hitters for this decade. Let's build like the Angels/Rays.

NOw there's an interesting thought. In all seriousness, when does Hanley start arbitration? Is he still making league minimum? I don't know much about it, but if Hanley is gonna be making more money then Alexei soon... could you see a SS swap because the Marlins love to dump salary so much? Gonzalez and Votto will stay with their respective teams, IMO.

Tony Pena pitches floating fastballs
I'm willing to give Pena a leash this year (really only because we traded B. Allen for him), but if it's the same story next year, KW has some explaining to do!!! I mean, are we really going to be able to count on Pena to replace Linebrink or Dotel's spot?

White Sox/Red Sox
The entire season has been an embarrassment. No one gets it done in clutch situations. We are the anti-clutch. On the opposite side, it seems like whenever the other team needs something clutch, our s***ty bullpen or defense hand it right to them.
-
White Sox/Red Sox
You do know that we're going to be trotting a Buehrle Contreras and Garcia out there in NY? Buehrle has completely lost it since his perfect game, Contreras sucks (and our bullpen will get decimated again), and Garcia might pitch well but in this game either one or a combination of our offense, defense and bullpen will lose the game. We just haven't found a way to click on all cylinders.

White Sox/Red Sox
Exactly, the more we keep beating ourselves and losing games, the more ground we keep losing on Detroit, which means you need that many more wins to actually have a shot. This team has never gone on a truly dominant stretch this season, and there really isn't any reason to expect it after watching 5 months of the same old s***.
-
White Sox/Red Sox
After losing the previous 10 games to BOS, NYY and MIN, they will be too far down in the cellar. Even a 10 game win streak would barely put us over .500, whereas Detroit has been consistently 6, 7 or 8 games above .500 (like we should be)
