Even more of a reason to try and get Shea Hillenbrand. They have that Chad Tracy guy, who I guess they want to play at 1st now. My question, why are they signing big free agents when they're so heavily in debt?

And you just try to tell the kid who grew up in a s***ty neighborhood who worked his ass off in high school and college to become a lawyer and get his family out of a rut that fate dealt him those cards. Things just happen. Even if those things you mentioned do happen, so God gave you a bad hand this round, life isn't over. You can still go on to become a multi-millionaire. Nothings stopping you. You deal your own cards. If your family has the money and you decide to screw around in school, fine, you dealt your cards, your gonna be a super senior or doing manual labor. ADD is just an excuse for parents to not having to hassle their kids to do better in school. Did ADD exist 10 years ago? No!

Boston doesn't want a short stop for 4 years (thank God). We could use Renteria for four years. I'm actually pulling for the Angels to sign Beltran, so that hopefully they'd fall out of the Edgar race. Cards want to offer him arbitration and take a years contract, hopefully Edgar wants more years.

I'd personally love to have Delgado on this team. Unless we just jumped into the bidding and overwhelemed him, there's no way we'd get him. I also think I recall him saying he'd hate to play for us. Man, he would live off USCF. Oh well.

My uncle does roofing. I was trying to give you a worse thing than carpentry where you won't make as much money. I get pissed off when 3 or 4 different people tell me the same thing. Tend to disagree. There are VERY few that I've met that even have the decency to talk with me, let alone be friends. You really have no room to defend jocks. It's a history of torment. No longer is it stereotypical to call a jock an asshole. They all are. I haven't met one nice one. They're all into the pussy and the football. If they're seen talking with a "lesser", then they start worrying about their reputation.

Haven't got one in a long time, but usually I just start messing with them. If they're trying to sell me into a religion (Yes, this has happened to me), I just say "Oh, I'm not a big fan of God", and then they say ,"Oh, you mean you're not a fan of religion?" and I say, "No, I'm not a fan of God. Hah, whenever I have to give rides, for some reason they are in bulk. It's good you have a girlfriend that doesn't buy into the popularity BS. I have one as well. They're good people.
