Holy crap, did anyone see ESPN News?
The only thing I wouldn't like about this trade is Podsednik and his batting average last year. It's barely better than Joe Crede's. No matter how much speed you have, it's worthless if you can't get on base.

Holy crap, did anyone see ESPN News?
Everythings cleared up now and we all appreciate it. The only hangup is where the Rashid dude got his information from. Really, if you do hear more things, post them! It adds the the excitement. I don't think anyones mad at you just because this isn't true, and if they are, they're stupid.

Don't know if you guys knew this or not but
Apparently Kelly had shoulder tendinitis and is right now working to get out of that.. via whitesox.com mailbag dealie: What do the White Sox seem to have planned for Kelly Wunsch? He was a good left-handed reliever until he got injured this year, but then did a good job when he came back to Class AAA Charlotte. Wunsch could spell Damaso Marte and Neal Cotts, who pitched well but ran out of gas by the end of the season because they threw so many innings. Wunsch isn't on the Sox's 40-man roster -- what gives? -- Paul S., Decorah, Iowa Scott, judging by the 10 questions sent to the mailbag regarding Kelly Wunsch, the White Sox fans seemingly appreciated the work turned in by the left-hander with the funky, sidearm delivery over the past five years. But for those ardent supporters who are a bit unclear, including those who advocated the use of Wunsch as part of a blockbuster deal, the middle reliever no longer is part of the White Sox organization. Wunsch finished the 2004 season with Charlotte, battling tendinitis in his pitching shoulder. But he was dropped from the 40-man roster and will not receive a non-roster invitation to Spring Training. With Damaso Marte, Neal Cotts, Arnie Munoz and the addition last week of Kevin Walker, the White Sox are well stocked with left-handed relievers. I talked Friday to Wunsch, who is working hard in the offseason to ensure he's healthy for 2005, and is trying to get in a little Winter baseball action. Wunsch mentioned that three teams have interest in bringing him into camp, although he's hoping for an offer that would guarantee him a spot on a 40-man roster. Although Wunsch spent his entire Major League career in the American League, he wouldn't mind a switch in competition. "It would be exiting to go to a new league and see the new hitters," said Wunsch from his home in Texas. "There seems to be more strategy involved in the National League. It would be a cool change." A move to the NL also would give Wunsch a chance to face Barry Bonds more often. Wunsch struck out Bonds during one Spring Training appearance and induced a ground ball from the prolific slugger during their sole regular-season matchup. Maybe NL pitching coaches should be picking Wunsch's brain for ideas on how to stop the perennial Most Valuable Player. It's easy to understand why so many fans are curious as to Wunsch's situation. He was one of the more affable and well-spoken players on the team and a true go-to guy where the media was concerned. When performing at 100 percent, Wunsch also is a solid reliever against both left-handers and right-handers. "I hope he gets healthy and resumes his career," said White Sox pitching coach Don Cooper. The left-hander fell victim to injuries, a drop in velocity and the team's desire to take a look at Cotts, according to Cooper. "He's a Major League pitcher when he's healthy."

Holy crap, did anyone see ESPN News?
Exactly what I was thinking. There may be some truth to this but I hope that the Podsednik part is not. He's more of a question mark than Carl Everett.

Holy crap, did anyone see ESPN News?
In my opinion, Anderson is WAY too much for Podsednik.
-
Holy crap, did anyone see ESPN News?
If this were to really happen, I'd do all I could to leave Milwaukee out of it and keep Anderson. I think Podsednik just got an extension on his contract too.

Holy crap, did anyone see ESPN News?
Wow, that's really odd that two people said they heard it on ESPN NEWS while others are saying ESPN NEWS had nothing... this is an odd evening.

Is it getting better?
What if Dubya somehow became a tyrant like Hitler? Say he becomes a dictator. Say he takes our rights and shoots people for speaking out. I know for sure I could live with some tanks going down my street if it would take out a dictator. Freedom is undervalued! If I have to live in a country being rebuilded slowly, but still have my freedom, I'll be happy. I really don't know about you and if you think differently than that's fine/

Jaret Wright?
I like my avatars to be strange and scary.

Is it getting better?
There probably are, which is why Saddam hasn't cost us 100,000 lives. Those people in the middle east already hated us(with the excepetion of few countries), even before we went to get Saddam and to find weapons of mass destruction. Maybe some Iraqi's hate us now, too bad for them, they'll like it when they're government is a democracy and the good things settle in.

Jaret Wright?
Well, it will be nice when the ignore feature is added... I think he may be talking to himself when it is added, everyone will have him on ignore. I'm calling it now, Giants sign him by enticing him with an mutual option 4th year.
