  3. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 26, 2007 -> 11:53 AM) Pft, I had a pocket full of Kryptonite years ago I thought you were just happy to see me.
  4. QUOTE(AssHatSoxFan @ Apr 26, 2007 -> 11:43 AM) i am sure thats why they brought sawyer along to knock her up possibly Not unless he used a Dharma Condom
  5. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 26, 2007 -> 10:23 AM) Yeah, that was incredible. Now we have to figure out who would set that up, and why. It makes you think there is a real reason why all these people with connections were on the same plane. That it is not just a coincidence. That this was an elaborate set-up from the start.
  6. Oct 20?!? Did I miss it or am I early?
  7. I still think Meadow takes over the family ala Michael Corleone. The good offspring turns bad. She has been slowly defending and accepting her family's role more and more... QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 24, 2007 -> 10:49 AM) My guess has been for a while that Tony gets flipped and goes into witness protection with the family. There have been hints about it before in some of his dreams. I think that would be a great ending...A real purgetory for Tony. David Chase has always said "Goodfellas" is his bible for "The Sopranos"

    QUOTE(chimpy2121 @ Apr 22, 2007 -> 10:09 PM) Ari Gold is f***ing hillarious. Carla Yes sir...I agree...on all points!!!
  9. QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Apr 23, 2007 -> 12:50 PM) The last three words of that man's voicemail message is "Feed your head." Love it! I knew Linus was a horndog. Too bad its with his blanket.
  10. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 20, 2007 -> 11:24 AM) I bet Lou Piniella or Joe Torre wins a World Series with that team too. Put them on the Royals or DRays and I bet they lose. Oh, that's right, Piniella already managed the DRays and they crawled out of the cellar once. Is it about the talent on the field or the manager in the dugout? Ozzie managed the pen pretty well that year, but it's a hell of a lot easier to manage a bullpen when you have 5 relievers that pitched as well as Hermanson, Politte, Cotts, Vizcaino, and Jenks did. It also doesn't hurt that the Sox had 4 guys give them 200+ innings of sub 4 ERA, and 3 guys that gave them 220+ innings of sub 4 ERA. The fact of the matter is that coaching (ie the adjustments Cooper made to the entire pitching staff) and talent won that World Series, and Ozzie, though he managed well, did hardly anything to win it. Now you are trying to convince me he is a logical manager when he keeps the worst hitter in the league leading off...how is that logical? How? Wait...you mean you need good players to win a championship?!?!? Yes, we know that. But, also understand what a bad manager can do to a talented ball club. Sorry...complain all you like, Ozzie and his managerial abiltites were a major...let me rephrase...MAJOR reason we won it all in 2005. I waited for a championship for a long time. I prayed for just ONE in my lifetime. Ozzie helped give me that. I would never dare call him a idiot, moron, or horrible...simply becuse its an insult to what we gave all of us and it simply isn't true. Does he make mistakes...sure all managers do. But is he the cause of all our issues. HELL NO.
  11. QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 02:11 PM) Ozzie gets a lifetime of pardons apparently from some, because he was fortunate enough to be managing one of, if not THE best pitching performance in the postseason. How hard is it to manage a pitching staff that is throwing CGs, and dominating? I mean seriously, take off the Ozzie love glasses, and you may notice that he is not able to walk on water. His managing style follows no logic or sense at all. Tell me again, what does grindErstad bring to this team that we didn't have already in a cheaper, faster, younger version? Oh its ok, he has those 'intangibles'..I'm sorry. Ask Dusty Baker and the 2003 Cubs...Ask Bobby Cox and all the years with the Braves...Ask ANYBODY how easy it is to Manage a Major League Baseball club in the World Series. You think it's EASY?!? wow
  12. QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 12:25 PM) Ozzie won a WS in 2005. Good for him, time to move on. Spoiled by the avalanche of World Series Championships in the past century, eh?
  13. QUOTE(StrangeSox @ Apr 19, 2007 -> 11:14 AM) Logic + Ozzie = Does Not Compute. Logic + Ozzie = 2005 WORLD SERIES CHAMPIONS Does that compute??
  14. TONIGHT'S EPISODE: STAGE 5 Tony finds art imitating life at the 'Cleaver' premiere. Meanwhile, how will an incarcerated Johnny Sack cope with more bad news? Plus, Phil Leotardo contemplates his lineage; Silvio has a dinner interrupted. Dante at dinner and the 'Cleaver' premiere? This has all the makings of a classic!
  15. QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 02:36 PM) Nice knowing you, pal. I Kid Because I Care® Hunker down, stay safe and all that. Don't forget to strap it down, too.
  16. I edited this link into my earlier post, but its worth posting again. A VERY cool resource on all things LOST: http://www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Main_Page
  17. or maybe... Walt. The Ben flashbacks could tell us what was truly special about Walt. Here is a cool list of the mysteries from the LOSTpedia http://www.lostpedia.com/wiki/Portal:Mysterious
  18. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 02:04 PM) I thought we knew the plane crashed because the button didn't get pushed and the magnet brought it down... Or do you have another sinister plan in place? Desmond thought thats what happened...I am not so sure if thats truly the cause.
  19. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 01:24 PM) That was my first thought, with its re-emergence after Kate and Juliet last week. I guess we will see. Or it could be the real cause of the plane crash and how everyone is truly connected. I am as happy as a little girrrrrl!(spoken with German accent)
  20. QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 12:53 PM) Ooh, I wonder which "mystery" they are talking about? There is a whole load of stuff that happened that they have never gone back to. I'm hoping it's the smoke-monster!
  21. This was just posted on Aintitcool.com What sad is I was really hoping for the DeGroot flashbacks.
  22. QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 12:40 PM) I'm thinking Ribbie isn't taking this very serious. When it comes to cheerleaders eating popsicles...I'm serious!
  23. QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 10:47 AM) Bingo. Once we won the WS, the "rivalry" seemed irrelevant. I remember being at the games last year and there wasn't that tension, because we didn't care. The only thing that made that series remotely interesting was the sucker punch. Other than that, it was just any other team. Which doesn't mean I won't be at Wrigley next month talking s*** like nobody's business!!! C'mon! Priorities, dude... Next year we are planning on bringing a birthday cake to the game in honor of the 100 years of futility and have the closest Cub fan blow out the candles.
  24. QUOTE(Controlled Chaos @ Apr 13, 2007 -> 12:34 PM) Cancel. I think we need a picture of her to make a real informed decision... Preferably in a cheerleader outfit eating a popsicle, if you have one. Thanks in advance!
  25. My advice: Take her out for a burger at Arnold's, dance to a couple songs on the jukebox and then head out to inspiration point and watch the submarine races! Give her your letterman sweater and call it a night. Oh..and use a condom.
