  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 2, 2008 -> 08:47 PM) Congrats Heads! I feel so proud.
  2. One f***ing time Brian!
  3. Seemed like that would have been a great situation for Booner.
  4. The offense due up.
  5. Hit it a lot, Brian.
  6. Cedar Rapids under a tornado warning in this month's installment of "f*** Iowa". Confirmation of a tornado on the ground headed towards the area.
  7. QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jul 1, 2008 -> 09:58 PM) John Danks is something special. ERA down to 2.55. As is Carlos Quentin. He actually smiled after D Weezey crossed home.
  8. Even with the top of the 10th, this win felt f***ing awesome.
  9. Wise trying to shut my face up.
  10. I stand corrected, Wise does something.
  11. Should leave BA in for a tie game...
  12. ALEXEI MOTHERFUKCING MISSILE
  13. Wow, that replay showed just how much power he has to hit it as far as he did with that swing.
  14. Aw shucks, JUST missed it.
  15. The offense due up.
  16. Between the Mark Buehrle that has showed up lately and all year long Johnny Danks, plus Thornton and Booner, I'm just loving our southpaws. They've all just been a joy.
  17. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Jul 1, 2008 -> 08:07 PM) Lets get 3 out here and than a walkoff Sox dinger Hard hittin' Carlos Quentin?
  18. If I have to hear "My Country Tis of Thee" sung with a lisp one more time, I may break something.
  19. That may have been a groundout, but that was one of the more encouraging swings I've see out of BA, going the other way.
  20. Anderson, you sexy man beast, get on base.
  21. Holy canoli, BA. Keep scraping together base hits like that.
  22. Jordan Danks, the seventh-round pick of the White Sox, took batting practice Tuesday in front of team executives that included chairman Jerry Reinsdorf, general manager Ken Williams, assistant GM Rick Hahn and scouting director Doug Laumann. Throwing batting practice to Danks, Monsignor Pace High School (Miami) junior Ozney Guillen, Paul Konerko and Dewayne Wise was Sox manager Ozzie Guillen. Danks was taking a brief break from his Beatrice, Nebraska, summer team and probably won't sign until later this summer. "I'm just ready to get going and find out where I'm headed to and where to sign that contract and hopefully get up here as quick as possible," Jordan said. "When you see all this, it gives you motivation."
