Sox vs. Oakland, March 10, 2:05 (SS)
QUOTE(beck72 @ Mar 10, 2007 -> 03:24 PM) Was Scutaro's hit to the left or right field corner? The announcers said the fielder was non-chalant getting the ball back and allowed the 2b to be a 3b. I want to say right.... I'd like to see Aardsma, Sisco and Masset all pitch in this game, if they are there and able.

Rowand to the Sox??
QUOTE(RME JICO @ Mar 10, 2007 -> 02:59 PM) Just FYI. Rowand has not played in the last two Phillies games (Friday and Saturday). Victorino has started both of the games. Sometimes teams stop playing players before trades. Could just be a coincidence. Rowand probably slipped and fell into a wall when grinding his way into the shower.

Carlos Vasquez will likely pitch the top of the fourth. Former Sox farmhand Jay Marshall (lost in the Rule V) warming for Oakland. QUOTE(RockRaines @ Mar 10, 2007 -> 03:05 PM) If he is regarded as a top spect now, he should be dealt before he gets taste of the major league strike zone. He's not our top prospect. Danks/Fields are are top pitcher and position player.

QUOTE(RockRaines @ Mar 10, 2007 -> 03:01 PM) For a control pitcher, he certainly has terrible control. He'll be in Charlotte, where he belongs. Sweeney reaches on E-1.

6-3. Anderson IF single. He breaks his bat and it messes with an IF, and he gets on.

Rowand to the Sox??
Apparently, Brian will never be the equal in the outfield or grinderness until he impales himself on something to one up Rowand. I'm sick and f***ing tired of the Rowand worship because he didn't know where the wall was. I'm not saying Anderson is the answer, but for the love of God, people, Row is gone.

Big XII Tournament
I really doubt that Huggins won't get a higher profile job offer if he keeps his nose clean (ish) for a couple of years.....at which point, the 'Cats will resume mediocrity.

QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 9, 2007 -> 03:35 PM) I still really don't want to rush this kid... Either do I. QUOTE(Flash Tizzle @ Mar 9, 2007 -> 03:37 PM) If we're really serious about Danks, he should be starting games from this point forward. When you come into a game after the starter, there's a chance several of the opposing team's players may have been replaced. He should be giving our coaches a good look against legitimate major league talent. You've got a good point.

Danks is really working his way into the 5th starter mix.

March 9th: White Sox vs. Arizona
Let's go, Danksy. For the love of God Brian, play well enough to start in CF. Our team will be better for it. On a side note, I kind of like today's lineup.

Rowand to the Sox??
You only deal for Rowand if he's ungodly cheap. We've got enough OF.

Rowand to the Sox??
Rowand sure helped lead the Phils to a World Series. I wasn't aware that he was the biggest reason that we won it all. Or even one of the top 5.
