I've never worked on an actual farm in my life. I'd get trampled by the damn things.

I'm trying to do two really simple things. Really cut down on my pop.....either going with milk, OJ or water.....just something other than pop. Secondly, and I'm getting my roommate to do this, is just 50 situps every night before going to bed. It's just a small step, but doing it every day is the goal.

Iowa State contained Durant..... We were down 20 in the first half, so to lose by 9 was nice. Durant finished with 17 and 5. ISU super frosh Wes Johnson finshes with 17 and 8, but DJ Augustin dropped 31.

I would like Iowa State to beat Texas tomorrow.

Coldest it's ever been in Iowa was -47 in February of 1996. I went out that day to see if I could pee and see it freeze before it hit the ground. It didn't. I think it was right around -40 at my house. The coldest I've ever been would be probably -17 air temperature....coldest wind chills were probably around -50. Needless to say, it's still friggin cold. You just know there's people on a college campus from like Florida or Texas delighted to see winter and snow for the first time. I hope they're happy.

I saw Riverside in Hilton. They've got maybe 6 wins this year. They are BAD.
