  3. I hope they caught it early. There's a lot that can be done about it these days. All the best.
  4. Got a 17-3 game thread record at stake.
  5. Wikipedia: Scientology is a system of beliefs and practices created by American pulp fiction author L. Ron Hubbard in 1952 as a self-help philosophy. By 1960 Hubbard had redefined it as a "religion by its basic tenets". [1] The Church of Scientology, by far the largest organization promoting the belief system of Scientology, is sometimes referred to simply as "Scientology". The Church of Scientology presents itself as a religious non-profit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of the human spirit and providing counseling and rehabilitation programs. Church spokespeople claim that Hubbard's teachings (called "technology" or "tech" in Scientology terminology) have saved them from addictions, arthritis, depression, learning disabilities, mental illness, cancer, homosexuality and other issues. The controversial organization has attracted much criticism and distrust throughout the world because of its closed nature and strong-arm tactics in handling critics.[2] Lawmakers, including national governing bodies of several countries, have characterized the Church as an unscrupulous commercial organization, citing harassment of critics and exploitation of its members.[3] Scientology's principles have been characterized as pseudoscientific by scientists, medical doctors and psychotherapeutic practitioners. Because of these factors, Scientology has frequently been perceived as a cult and a pseudoreligion. [4] There are approximately 55,000 Scientology adherents in the United States according to a survey published by the U.S. Census bureau.[5] The worldwide number of adherents is disputed. The Church of Scientology claims between 9 million and 10 million followers. Adherents.com suggests there may be 500,000 adherents worldwide [6] while other groups say the number is likely to be less than 100,000 total. [7]

  12. QUOTE(Kalapse @ May 12, 2006 -> 09:16 PM) Pick one please. Player A: 2.23 ERA, .97 WHIP, 143 K Player B: 2.49 ERA, 1.06 WHIP, 103 K Johan. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ May 12, 2006 -> 09:17 PM) Who cares? Whomever it is will most likely suck. Might as well have brought up Tracey to see what we have. BLogan warming.
  13. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ May 12, 2006 -> 09:12 PM) I would only want Lopez up if he was replacing Logan. I'd rather wait for Nelson to be ready. Yes, we all know you're in love with Nelson. Who gets that 11th spot in the pen right now though?
  14. Well, can't win em all. Get em tomorrow.
  15. SSH, righties are batting over 300 against Javy in Charlotte....so you've got that. Batters are hitting below .140 against Tracey.....
  16. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ May 12, 2006 -> 08:58 PM) Too many darn lefties. I think they are just waiting for Nelson to be ready. It doesn't matter what hand they throw with if they can get guys up.....why not Javier? QUOTE(Dick Allen @ May 12, 2006 -> 08:59 PM) They should just release Montero. Seriously, why keep this guy around, unless you really need him at Charlotte. He can't pitch in the major leagues effectively. He's been kicking ass at Charlotte. Winning down there can carry up.
  17. Hey now, my nose still hurts. No surgery though. Do jump on AIM though, you'll bust a gut laughing.
  18. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ May 12, 2006 -> 08:55 PM) He's a stud. Oh wait, no, he's just a career minor leaguer. Javier should have been up anyways.
  19. Anderson with a nice catch.
  20. And there goes Auggies ERA.
  21. So, I've noticed over the years that there are just certain numbers the Sox use on their uniforms....like 65....is this so they can be quick stitched with a name?
  22. And Agustin will now be on next years MLB game. Nice second pitch....
  23. I don't agree with Jabroni much, but I'd rather have Santana, if for nothing else than the fact he's probably 15 years younger.
  24. Bring in Agustin. Might as well make someone eliglible for MLB 07 tonight.
  25. They aren't towards year end I believe. On a separate note, wite and I had the greatest AIM chat ever.
