  1. QUOTE (IowanSoxFan @ Nov 6, 2012 -> 08:29 PM) Is there a legitimate way Romney could win without Ohio? No.
  2. I like seeing Kentucky fans who either think they could hire better than Paul Rhoads or those that think he should be a DC candidate at Kentucky.
  3. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Nov 4, 2012 -> 08:10 AM) Yep. Their fanbase is indeed a bunch of morons who could not sniff a diploma. However, ND now is extremely easy to hate on. Brian Kelly is perhaps the most despicable human being currently in college sports. Yup, Brian Kelly is a lot of the reason for the hate.
  4. We shall look to devalue a win over Oklahoma for everyone this weekend. As much as I want to see K State make it, I wouldn't totally mind seeing the Big 12 get f***ed because they don't have a title game so that we will reconsider expanding to 12. I also don't see how anyone couldn't have Collin Klein as the Heisman favorite right now.
  5. QUOTE (danman31 @ Oct 30, 2012 -> 11:44 PM) Oh hi there. Michigan bad, Alabama good as far as you're concerned. Isn't that how you left us? Missouri still floundering
  6. Marge: Have you noticed any change in Bart? Homer: New glasses? Marge: No...he looks like something might be disturbing him. Homer: Probably misses his old glasses. Marge: I guess we could get more involved in Bart's activities but then I'd be afraid of smothering him. Homer: Yeah, and then we'd get the chair. Marge: That's not what I meant. Homer: It was, Marge, admit it.
  7. So sad to see Jake Knott's career at Iowa State over. Wish we could have redshirted him his freshman year. Might be a kid whose college career is as good as it will get for the guy, but I know he'll work his ass off. Iowa State legitimately had the best LB corps in the Big 12, and he was part of that. Glad I can call him a friend. The f***er dislocated his shoulder twice last year during one game and popped it back in both times. Tore his labrum this year. Broke his thumb last year and this year. Naturally, Chizik didn't deem him worthy of a scholarship.
  8. I think people were questioning Ryan's restriction of Iowa State more.
  9. 5-3! One more and we're going bowling, and we still play Kansas. Oklahoma @ ISU should be a fun watch.
  10. I really wish ISU could do more home-and-homes with Big Ten schools....specifically Illinois, Wisconsin and Indiana. We've got Michigan coming to Hilton in 2013-14, and we've had Minnesota recently, but it'd be sweet to get one Big Ten team on the schedule every year (Iowa doesn't count)
  11. I agree with Wite. Fact is, even if this team exceeded expectations, that would have likely meant a .500 team over what many people thought coming into the year. The fact we were in the race so long and made the summer interesting was better than I expected. Of course, I'm expected a contender for 2013 now.
  12. Needs more Will Clyburn.
  13. Ha, Iowa State is marketing this weekend's KSU-ISU game as Farmageddon - finally adopting the informal nickname it got four years ago. Anyways, TCU rivals Baylor for worst fan support I've seen in the Big 12. Certainly better than places I've been to like UCONN, but still awful.
  14. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 29, 2012 -> 02:38 PM) Geno Smith wrapping up the heisman with perhaps the best offensive performance in modern college football history. He's got time to hit 10 passing touchdowns yet.
  15. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Sep 29, 2012 -> 02:10 PM) This WVU-Baylor game is just fantastic. Defense is playing 15 yards off receivers, willingly conceding first downs. This game is ridiculous.
  16. West Virginia and Baylor will hit the 84 point O/U with the next touchdown. Keep in mind, we just started the second half.
  17. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Sep 24, 2012 -> 07:07 PM) No, Kelly should have known better. He's responsible for everything on, and pertaining to, that football field and practice. The end. He should of, but he's not the only one.
  18. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Sep 23, 2012 -> 07:32 PM) Well, Kelly and the kid never talked directly, but that was the gist of the message sent through a third party. Biggest issue is the video coordinator should have known better, but the head coach/director of operations also should have been cognizant of what was going on. Obviously, this is a big deal to me, being as it's exactly what I do.
  19. It's an accident, but those scissor lifts usually have a sticker on them saying not to go up in winds over 25 MPH or so. A lot of people screwed up that day.
  20. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 22, 2012 -> 10:24 PM) Because his massive ego makes him a better coordinator than head coach? Or because no coach can win at moribund Kansas? Well, he's shown no ability to coach actual talent. He's going to have to try and take advantage of the Kansas JUCO system, but we'll see how long it takes him to figure that out.
  21. QUOTE (greg775 @ Sep 22, 2012 -> 10:14 PM) That K-State/Oklahoma game was a good one. I watched most of it. KSU hung on. Nice win. Kansas and Charlie Weis lost to Northern Illinois today. Do you ND fans think Weis will fail at Kansas? Not a ND fan, but yes.
