But what's on WGN this fall?? Alexei needs to hit more home runs if he wants that Gold Glove.

Let's start things off right, Juan.

Promote Morel for better defense
QUOTE (WCSox @ Jul 17, 2010 -> 06:07 PM) Not sure if Lilly's going anywhere, but I'd be pretty surprised if Viciedo goes back down. It seems more likely to me that Teahen moves to DH and either Kotsay or Jones goes. Mark Kotsay isn't going anywhere, I'm not sure how much it needs to be repeated. Aside from being loved in the clubhouse, outside of April he has been average at worst.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Jul 17, 2010 -> 05:33 PM) Kenny should grow a huge pair of balls and trade Konerko and Teahen at the deadline a good OF. Nothing says we're making a push for the playoffs like trading one of the two faces of your franchise.

Sox sign Jeremy Reed
QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 17, 2010 -> 03:34 PM) Poor Reed. He's just another of the many ballplayers not good enough to make it. Wrong time to bring up the fact that his career numbers compare favorably to Dewayne Wise?

QUOTE (farmteam @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 10:35 PM) I'm not sure why it took me 20 or 21 years to figure out that you have to let women come to you. That is, you can't always be the one texting them, talking to them on facebook or whatever...you have to let them come to you. It seems so obvious, yet it took me way too long to realize it. And I agree with Heads on the ganja thing. For the right type of girl, it definitely could work. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 08:34 AM) Yeah, again, things that never worked for me. You could try it in conjunction with my Bieber haircut.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 07:36 PM) I love how Stone said he's not sure who this is playing in Lillibomb's jersey. I'm waiting for that magical day when Hawk breaks out the Yaz/Lillibridge comparison.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 07:30 PM) We should have started Quentin just so Lillibomb's AB would be considered a PH. Lillibomb's kicking ass and taking names.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Jul 16, 2010 -> 03:00 AM) I think it probably helped that we played the Twins, but yeah, this is impossible to ignore now. 26- 5 is like a college basketball record... One of my best friends is a Cubs fan. His description tonight? "That's just disgusting."

Who do you love right now?
A little drunk right now, but still. Even in 2005, we didn't see a stretch like this. Savor it.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
Gotta love winning games where we don't play that well. At the bars tonight, Your Love came on. It made me feel good again. This team is seeming special. 26 out of 31? Ridiculous! Keep it going tomorrow. Dont stop. WLWWWWLWWWWWWWWWWWLLWLWLWWWWWWWWW

QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 01:18 PM) I liked the trade at the time. Granted, I did think it was a lot to give up. It turned into one of Kenny's better trades. Freddy was a solid pitcher for 2 1/2 years, then we turn him into Gavin Floyd and Gio Gonzalez. And now he's been instrumental this year.- Peavy Done for Year; Marquez Up
QUOTE (ptatc @ Jul 15, 2010 -> 02:01 PM) The shoulder will be mostly immobilized for 4-8 weeks depending on what type of anchoer they used to reattach the tendon. The lat is a 7 cm long tendon that needs to wrap around the inside of the humerus. With those variables my guess is that they used a dissolvable anchor similar to the ones they use for SLAP lesions of the labrum. So it's most likely the immobilization will be for 6-8 weeks. Then they will start the slow process of stretching and seeing if the long tendon tightened up enough to restrict full overhead motion. If it did they process will be loger, but they got to it right away so this is unlikely. He will probably be ready to go by December if they a fairly conservative. with the season being over for him there should be no difficulty with him returning for spring training. This is all based on the usual rehab protocols. The true variable is how the long, thin tendon reacts to the ruture (it's not a true avulsion unless a piece of bone comes with it) abd the layoff. There are structures called Sharpey's fibers which begin as tendon and when it attaches to the bone, it blends in with the periosteum which is the outer covering of the bone. This should racts as most other tendons do but in a unique case like this you can never be sure. That's what I was going to say, but you beat me to it.- 7/15 - Sox @ Minnesota
