Concern, absolutely. There are a ton of unknowns with this team and kids who are getting their first taste in many ways… but I think it’s a bit extreme to say or think that this team is going to be looking up at Detroit soon.

I expected to see him take a couple weeks to lift and pull one out but he took half that time. Ahead of schedule. He keeps this up and shows improvement until the winter, then it will be time to consider this a success and pencil him in as our starting center fielder or potential platoon. Also depends on which Peters closes out the year… this Peters, first half Peters, or some blend of both.

I am convinced that he was a great pickup and will excel with our staff in Chicago. Team is up 4-1 through 7. Bullpen gives up the game and everyone is jumping to extremes. They could have won and should have. Bummer. Just have to go get em tomorrow and have other guys pickup Hudson / Taylor.

Have a feeling the next right handed sluggers for our Sox are named Bonemer and Roch.

Wish I had put $100 down on them to lose every game for those 21 in a row. I’m sure that would be a high 6 to near 7 figure return. Though, placing $2000 on the Sox to win the central this year back in February would fetch between 90 and 150k, depending on the market. Insane.
