  1. Oh snap - it’s time!
  2. Go f*** right off boy. We had our fit to be cut starting pitcher going against arguably their guy with the best stuff. Take your bullshit Debbie Downer horseshit out of this thread and if you keep it up then you’re headed straight to The Hall of Fame List. Clear?
  3. Exactly - so I would much rather take Lackey.
  4. Seriously - I would draft him as a Centerfielder.
  5. Will Mune go down for a 10 day to 2 week stint and give Jacob a shot in the show?
  6. He’s also only 18 years old. Only way Emerson is my guy is if he projects to have a trajectory like Bobby Witt Jr, where he starts with the club when the 2028 season begins. I just don’t see it.
  7. BOOM BABY - I LOVE THIS TEAM!!!
  8. Perhaps they’re doing so as a precaution should Mune need a IL trip?
  9. Was pulled after running hard to beat out a potential double play ball in the third. Grabbing at a hammy. Nightengale reporting right hamstring tightness as of 7:45pm. Thread for any updates here. Edit: During post game Will Venerable said he’s going to likely miss a couple of weeks and tomorrow they’ll be getting imaging done. Will this open up a spot for us to test the waters on Jacob Gonzalez?
  10. Six weeks are gonna be grueling
  11. Watching the post game… is that a cup above Will’s shoulder? 🤣
  12. I think he’s an ideal 26th man.
  13. I no like people who hyphenate their last name and have a jersey that has letters going from sleeve to sleeve.
  14. If he can stay healthy then he’s gonna shove. Before we anoint he at an ace level, we need to just focus on health and stamina.
  15. I’d like to see us sign Trevor Bauer. Hell, he’d pitch for free and would not only give us another powerful starting pitcher but he would help elevate our entire staff. The dude got a bad wrap and has been throwing darts. He’s also like having a pitching ninja secondary coach on your staff. Make that move, bring in an actual DH, call up B Mont later in the year, bring Teel up, and we would be a legit threat to win it all.
  16. Every post in this thread gets a 🔥 THATS HOW MUCH FUCKING HEAT THIS TEAM IS BRINGING!!! DON’T STOP NOW BOYS!!!
  17. Where’s the people who were talking s%*# about Sam’s baseball IQ?
  18. No sure if it’s been mentioned or not about this female umpire… but come on man, if we’re having women behind the plate or out in the field can we at least make sure they’re sixes at a minimum. This chick looks like a troll. 😆
  19. One can hope and pray 😆
  20. Acunia’s stats still aren’t even as good as Rikuu‘s disadvantages against LHP. 😆
  21. If the dude can’t throw an 0-2 ball in the dirt with a runner on third, then he shouldn’t be in the show. I really have no problem with the pitch selection and bet that if he’s called on to make that pitch again, he will execute it. Sometimes the most important lessons come through pain - right?
  22. Often times people ( especially on the internet ) become keyboard warriors and act as authority figures when in reality they have little actual insight to offer. It’s easier to judge a play while sitting on a couch and reviewing a situation in slow motion. Some also don’t have actual playing experience too. Otherwise, those who have played the game tend to see things differently. Sam, Riku, Mune, and Will are all pros. They’ll all get better from the loss and will continue to grow. That’s what gives hope for the future. We’re no longer stuck with arrogant flashy show boats like Moncada or deflective putts like Grifol. 😆 Hopefully today we’ll get back on track and will be treated to a surprising debut that can bring even more excitement for the better days this franchise has entered. Go Sox!
