Blah blah blah… Pregame show shows various ways that this team and the ‘05 team have similarities. Will those people own up? Nope. They’ll remain arrogant douchebags. Looks like Sandlin had been scheduled to pitch on 9/9 or 9/10 but didn’t end up going. Maybe there is actually a chance for him being lined up to start tomorrow.

Yea I agree - just repeating what I heard will say post game. What’s happened lately with Thorpe and Sandlin. They should have had one of those guys ready to go long ago.

Pretty sure in the post game Will said they were still talking and thinking about it and “maybe Fedde”. I’m pretty sure it was Fedde - was hard to hear him.

Sandlin and Thorpe would both have been more effective than Castillio and I think you’re going to be wrong on Sandlin.

Well, just look at the fact that Sandlin and Thorpe both haven’t pitched for the Sox in the last 3 weeks. Tells you a lot.

If the starting pitching was in a better spot, this season would really be reminding me of 05.

Hopefully this is the game where they turn it around and begin playing their best ball of the season. Also hope they call up Sandlin or Thorpe to replace Castillo. In the post game with Will, when asked about Luis, he seemed at a loss and was resigned that Castillo can’t start again. If he’s out there again this year it’s because Getz is forcing it.

You have to think that if they would have benched Castillo and called up Thorpe and Sandlin three weeks ago… we’d probably have about a 4 game lead. All confidence in Chris Getz is waining.
