Eh - I understand the thought but I think it’s more important to save the pen… it isn’t sustainable to have starters coming out in the 4th inning. They need to be given opportunities to find ways to get back into the game and get through at least 5. Sometimes that exposure and gaining that experience is going to hurt. Just is a part of a team transitioning and maturing into a 162 game schedule.
