Bummer that we don’t get to see the Montgomery brothers in the same lineup yet but as long as we get the win, we’ll all be happy campers. Long term, hope Colson doesn’t become the next Crede healthwise. Been a concern of mine for a while now.

Sooner than I expected!!

To buy or sell...
Yea, if that’s the cost for a mid rotation controllable arm then no thanks.

To buy or sell...
The problem there, even if he turns the corner and flashes the same stuff in the bigs - is that he has never thrown over 100 IP in a season and is already nearing his professional high in innings pitched.

we’re gonna have to establish a southern pipeline to genuinely become an annual contender… so I sure hope so.

Great start to the season. Now we need to sustain and remain in contention
It is an odd feeling rooting for the Yankees.

6/7/2026 - Sox @ Phils, rubber match, 12:35 pm CDT - Gilbert/Sandlin v. Nola
It gets called about 50 / 50. I love that Sam goes up there and finds any possible way to get on base.

But they had been getting the job done and exceeding expectations thus far. We all knew they are due for regression.

Eh - it’s just a part of the game and it only bothers me when they actively lean into it.

Hagen just finished his day on a 96 mph fastball up and away for a strikeout to a righty. Not sure his line but 0 runs.

Lillian rocks and we’ve missed you.

And it’s hopefully reinforced with some additions via trade to the starting staff and bullpen with arms that have control beyond this year. Though, potential lockout next year is one of my primary worries when we are looking at potential deadline deals

Huh? You’ve hated when baseball players get hit while batting… I do not understand.

Hopefully Jason is able to make some headway with the host. I’ve sent him a pretty extensive and specific audit of the issues but from what I know, the hosting company is not very engaging.

Most likely and considering how we all thought this year would pan out, that is an amazing position to be in.

Pretty tough spot you’d put Hagen in if you break him into the bigs against the Dodgers.

Was odd to see after we have been fundamentally sound for the entire season. Maybe the boys were a little stressed coming into Philly. Or they ate one too many cheesesteaks and were sluggish.

You may want to consider who he was responding to. 😆

He has been such an under appreciated bright spot. People on the board give him his due but I don’t the the casual fans really understand how badass the banana man has been.

The good: We had legit chances to win all three of these games. The offense showed up. All of the games were competitive. Gonzo went deep for the first time. Colson is showing more signs of life. Taylor was straight up nails yet again. The bad: Our pitching staff really was exposed. We made far too many mistakes on the fundamental side ( which has not been the case this year ). We also failed to cash in on many RISP chances. Most importantly, we didn’t face either of the Phillies top two. Ouch. I’ve said for the past month that we are a starting pitcher, two bullpen arms, a competent DH, and a right fielder away from being where we want to be. That also accounts for Schultz coming back and turning the corner. Hopefully we have many of the answers to those holes on the IL and down on the farm. We should be happy with taking one win here and find some solace that the team will come away from this with some good lessons under their belt. Hopefully Will and the rest of the Coach staff will start making moves to the mound in more timely manners… as that will go a long way as well.
