Love Romo the person but I can’t wait for Teel to come back. Having him and Mune Sama injected into this line up is going to make us one of the most potent well rounded lineups in MLB.

Yes - that is ideal IMO. Having the ability to take advantage of his positional versatility is a huge plus to me and if he ONLY wants to catch exclusively, that would bring his value down slightly for our team specifically.

I have faith that Teel will be a fixture at catcher for the next 5 years and would hope to be able to use the athleticism of Lackey where we need him otherwise. He is a legit option in any position IMO.

The ONLY thing that sours me on Lackey are the reports of him not wanting to move off catcher with him being quoted as saying he “likes to have the ball in hand on every pitch” or whatever.

If you or anyone else has an athletic subscription and are willing to paste me that portion of his article / the entire article in a DM - it would help a broke brother out. 😆

Yea I figured. I saw a reply to a Hall of Fame Lister who referred to Hudson as our “starter” — figured that had to be wrong unless the Sox had been stretching him out in side seasons or something. Highly unlikely. If he shoves, I could see him going 2 max.

I am all for it. You get a guy that will absolutely shove and you also get your entire rotation upgraded… guy is like having another pitching coach on the bench. There isn’t any reason he should be out of the league - especially since the women set him up and lied. Dude should have been welcomed back.

I find it odd that there seems to be a good amount of posters who didn’t want to see a perfect game tonight. I mean, I’m not upset at all that it didn’t happen but it would have been cool. If it’s only a few outs away I don’t care what teams are playing, I’m rooting for history and especially would enjoy sharing that moment with my son.

I wonder if Hagen was instructed to work on something specifically or to only throw a certain pitch? Four homers in one game after rumors of nearly being called up doesn’t pass the smell test.
