QUOTE(spiderman @ Jul 28, 2006 -> 06:23 PM) I respectfully disagree haha... i think thats the first time in the history of soxtalk that ive seen that.... normally its just a fishing bunch of hootany from a bunch of fishers! (i dont know why but because of this site, i have accually been typing fishing a lot more... really, accually fishing typing fishing.)

QUOTE(Princess Dye @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 08:20 PM) Mets would have to be giving up some pretty weak prospects for that to work. it would be great if it did work thou, id love to put bmac in the rotation in place of either garcia or vazquez... id accually prefer garcia to go.... i think vazquez will work it out. maybe im just an insane fishing man.

QUOTE(atrain081 @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 08:10 PM) strong words lol yeah, sorry.... its a bad day at work, im begining to understand why people go postal.

QUOTE(POPPY_HIDALGO @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 07:23 PM) Josh Fields and Jenks. Macdougle has been brought in to be the new closer. Ozzie is said to be pretty unhappy with Jenks weight problems and is looking to get more lean. At least that's what I heard on the Score today. your the biggest joke this site has ever seen... always have been, go lay on the freeway or something... anything you could do would be time well spent compared to the crap you dwindle around here.

QUOTE(Hanger @ Jul 25, 2006 -> 05:10 PM) Think it would be better keeping Pods, Soriano second. That would make your 7-8-9 hitters be, Tadihito or A.J, Crede and Uribe...not terrible for getting Soriano some RBI chances. poopie smells bad.
-
yeah, for example... i dont see seatle parting with felix hernandez or the halos parting with santana... no way in hell.

QUOTE(Sam @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 10:02 PM) hr = hour... you must be a rocket scientist!
-
QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 09:56 PM) we'll see something completed in the next 36 hr's. thats pretty crazy man.... 36 home runs is a lot of offensive production fish.... this fishing deal is never going to fishing get done.
-
QUOTE(rcpweiner @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 09:43 PM) Well then ... Pods and Fields for Soriano? Yes or no, everybody? hell yes, you could get some prospects better and more relavent to our team for soriano... or keep him fields is gonna be good, i suspect.... but he just isnt on the same level as bmac.....
-
QUOTE(CaliSoxFanViaSWside @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 09:40 PM) Soriano could bring a major starting pitcher if flipped. like who vanderleer?
-
QUOTE(soxpride77 @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 09:36 PM) The Brewers want McCarthy too. From what I've heard, nearly every team that see McCarthy, want him. i doubt it has anything to do with the number 3 - 1 or 1.86 or the letters SP or the year 2005 naaawwwwww keep fishing

lee makes absoulutly 0 sence. where the fish would he hit? our line up would have to look something like this: (which is pretty odd) 1. iguchi ® 2. lee ® 3. thome (l) 4. konerko ® 5. dye ® 6. AJ (l) 7. crede ® 8. uribe ® 9. anderson ® thats one odd lookin lineup to me.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 08:55 PM) Just throwing this out there: Pods and McCarthy for Soriano.... Yes or no? thats a hell of a question i think the anwser can be found in this question: is it worth it to give up a future top of the rotation starter who will make the leauge minimum for a few years and take on the contract of a left fielder who will likely command 60 million dollars over then next 4 years?

QUOTE(VAfan @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 08:48 PM) Don't you love how a few days ago, KW said: "EVERYTHING'S QUIET. I'M NOT MAKING ANY TRADES. ZZZZZZZZ..............." Meanwhile, he's the only GM with the balls to give up talent to get talent. Hey, it may not work out, but I was tired of watching the Sox having our brains beat in over the last two weeks by our rivals. SMOKE EM, KENNY! Put a charge into this team!!! it is nice to see us get stronger in the pen... and im very encouraged by garcia and garland... their last starts were awsome.... contreras is still pitching well and if he gets it back completely, look out. im hoping our starting pitching can just go out and give us an average of 6 IP with 1 or 2 ER.... that would be awsome and we'd probably win the division. its all on the shoulders of the starters now.

QUOTE(MichiganBorn @ Jul 21, 2006 -> 01:08 AM) There are only a few teams I like to watch get dominated In no order 1) Yankees 3) Lakers im right with you on these two... funny too being that i born and raised in california. fish the lakers. fish the yankmes im sure you wont get punk here if you continue to be a class act. congrats on the win... it was a hard fought game and i hope next time we sweep you again.

QUOTE(MichiganBorn @ Jul 20, 2006 -> 08:29 PM) I think this is what the fans should be seeing out of these two teams. Not perfect outings against each other but competitive baseball. I don't want to see the White Sox or the Tigers dominate each other. If I wanted that I'd go play xbox. I want tension and suspense. Late inning rallies, two out bombs, big saves and side sitting strike outs. I'm just looking forward to the next series. Should be alot of fun. i like you. i hope you stick around and remain as cool when we kick the tigers asses next series

i want him to have my children.

it has been ugly, hopefully it ends here and we start a.... dare i say..... winning streak?
