QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Oct 4, 2010 -> 02:12 PM) Apparently the feeling is now that Cutlers concussion came after the "Olsen falls over" block. Whenever something catastrophic happens on offense it always seems like Olsen is involved.

Quietly so no one sees . . .
That was the worst OL display I've ever seen from a Bears team, and I've seen a lot of s***ty Bears teams.

Man everybody is ripping on Cutler for "holding onto the ball forever" but really 5 seconds isn't "forever." Only in this offense.

That was the worst offensive line performance I've ever seen. And that's saying something.

Hanie completed one pass, start him for the rest of the season. This line is really overachieving. I guess Collins "held onto the ball too long" too and the rape victim shouldn't have worn a push-up bra that night.

Giants don't have any sacks in the second half.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 11:08 PM) A safety is very likely here. That's what I'm thinking.

Bears DBs can't tackle for s*** but they can damn sure cause some turnovers. Too bad this offense can't do s***.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 11:04 PM) I shoulda started Bradshaw in the league I'm down by 30 pts in. Hopefully, Ronnie Brown gets like 25 points. I have Minnesota's defense and picked up San Diego this week against AZ because AZ sucks. 37 points... nice

I can't believe there were actually people calling for Todd Collins to start.

I think Jerry Angelo plays too much fantasy football... since they don't put up stats and you can't draft them he forgets during the actual NFL draft

And that's why Todd Collins doesn't arbitrarily get thrown in for Cutler in case it wasn't obvious enough to everyone, like the meatheads in my Facebook news feed.

Blaming Jay Cutler for that first half is like blaming a woman for getting raped.

Collinsworth just reamed Cutler for the same thing Collins just did but when Collins did it he blamed the protection.

QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 10:33 PM) This same line was fine last week for some reason. I just laughed out loud. No it wasn't. There has not been any point in the season where this offensive line has been "fine."

QUOTE (chw42 @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 10:31 PM) Tice should be fired after this game, seriously. How is it Tice's fault that the GM has a motley mix of dog droppings and aborted fetuses "blocking"?

QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 10:10 PM) In the NFL you can't buy an O-line, you have to draft and develop. Angelo has done a horses*** job in that department. He hasn't even tried. At all.

QUOTE (IamtheHBOMB @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 10:02 PM) So, what do the Bears do to improve the performance of the O-line during the season? Summary executions.

QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 09:32 PM) Mr Collingworth pay attention to the game. Barading Cutler for holding the ball too long when you have two WR running deep routes in a Mike Martz system is stupid. Both ends are getting around and collapsing the pocket right away. There is nothing under available. So having him throw the ball away every single time is going to accomplish nothing. Collinsworth keeps saying that, but Cutler can't tuck it in and get hit and throw the ball away on every snap, eventually he has to try to make something happen.

It's not the kind of thing that shows up in the stat sheet because it shows up on Cutler's line.

QUOTE (fathom @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 09:04 PM) I thought he was pretty much awful in the 2nd half, and got bailed out by some penalties last week. There's no such thing as getting bailed out by penalties when the penalties are the cause of the play's result.

I saw that coverage before he did, WTF. One of the plays I can count on one hand where he actually had time to throw. That was a head-shaker.
