  1. QUOTE (Cerbaho-WG @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 09:44 PM) Putz up in the pen, not Jenks. **huge sigh of relief**
  2. QUOTE (iamshack @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 09:40 PM) I had a great time in BMore/DC that weekend. Going to have to make a trip back soon. If the Sox are in town let me know. I love seeing the Sox play there. The only reason I'm not there right now is cuz my wife had planned a bunch of other s*** (she's not too good at listening)
  3. QUOTE (iamshack @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 09:37 PM) Actually, I think it was this game...looks like it was a Saturday game... July 14, 2007 I was at that game. I remember I was saying to my friend (an O's fan) "you need to score now, you don't wanna see Jenks in the 9th" ...yeah. And Jenks was actually $$ that season otherwise.
  4. QUOTE (iamshack @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 09:32 PM) I went to a game in Baltimore in 2007 I think it was and Jenk blew that one. I think Jenks has blown more than half of the games w/save situations I've seen him in at Camden Yards. Blown or otherwise been really bad.
  5. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 09:30 PM) Yay, another out on the bases. Rios is the worst slider ever. For as good a year overall Rios is having, he's been awful at stealing bases.
  6. Hard to say if Roberts got him. Like maybe just barely.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 09:26 PM) Balta, don't worry, Jenks dominates the Orioles! By "dominates" you mean "folds miserably against" of course.
  8. I don't feel good about Bobby if we go into the 9th with him, he is terrible against this team and in this park.
  9. There's the go-ahead! Good job going up the middle by Rios.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 09:22 PM) He was pointing home for some reason, and he completely slowed down. Trying to draw the fielders into tagging him and have Juan go to 3rd. It wasn't going to work. Nice try though. edit: nm you were talking about AJ
  11. I love it when kap is being the smart guy instead of the jackass, lol
  12. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 09:12 PM) Did AJ at least limp off on his own power? I believe so
  13. QUOTE (Heads22 @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 09:10 PM) Did AJ f*** himself up? Twisted his ankle on the base.
  14. Nice heads up running by AJ, despite his suckage at the plate I really hope he's not hurt.
  15. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 08:52 PM) If Kenny goes into next year with Kotsay still on the team and a Vizquel lead battle for 3rd base I want him fired. That would be two years in a row of handicaping your team. Don't forget about Dewayne Wise starting in CF and leading off
  16. God dammit Kotsay, gets good contact and then blows it
  17. Geeeeez Beckham that was an awful jump. Nice throw by Wieters, but damn, that was at least 15 feet he got thrown out by. Didn't he get thrown out like that last night too?
  18. AJ's body language on that last AB said "I just don't give a f***"
  19. What the f*** was that AJ? You make a s*** swing like that and then jog it out?
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 08:30 PM) Would you trade our lineup for theirs? I can't answer that without looking at numbers but it's not like our offense is really that good.
  21. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 08:29 PM) On the bright side, anyone shocked to see we're #2 in the AL in hitting with RISP? I'm not shocked, for the last month or so the execution has been great.
  22. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 08:26 PM) There is no reason on earth that we should not destroy the Orioles over the next 3 games. They are f***ing terrible and their pitching staff is terrible. These games need to be won as this race will remain tight as our manager insists on handicaping our team with a terrible DH. Our GM needs to do a better job Ozzie-proofing the lineup. No more sucky left handed scrappy hitters. He falls in love with them, and overuses them. I don't think their offense is that bad actually. There's some really good hitters in there (Roberts, Jones, Markakis, Scott)
  23. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 08:21 PM) Millwood has absolutely nothing on these pitches. Really he doesn't, not to take anything away from him but the hitters are psyching themselves out.
  24. QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Aug 7, 2010 -> 08:19 PM) Well maybe the fact that WGN-HD does no longer come in at my house for some reason played a part there, because it looked to me like the ball hit 2-3 feet up the wall. Maybe I was mistaken. Nah it was way up there. That's a homer in most parks.
  25. Ughhhhh Alexei bunting... swing away and blast off Millwood Alexei
