QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 27, 2010 -> 06:48 PM) Has Pierre beaten a bunt out this year? That was a sick play by Jaso/Pena, really good bunt by Pierre.

QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ May 27, 2010 -> 06:42 PM) God, i thought he had that one. Nah, he swung on that by his head, way to high albeit those Rays fans sure cheered like it was gone.

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ May 27, 2010 -> 06:39 PM) I liked Kotsay when he was strictly a bench player. I can't stand him as a starter. He's been good at the plat last few outings but, terrible base running from him.

Awesome, I know it was only spring training but man I enjoyed watching this kid play for the limited amount of time he did.

QUOTE (iamshack @ May 27, 2010 -> 02:31 PM) Yesterday he sort of landed or ran through first base awkwardly in the 6th or 7th inning I think. He didn't appear to injure himself, but it certainly looked scary to me. I hope it doesn't have anything to do with that. I immediately thought, oh crap, not the turf toe again...hope he didn't rip it again... I must have missed that. I really think CQ is getting a day off because he isn't performing.

QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ May 27, 2010 -> 02:24 PM) I am getting the feeling that the Paper Tiger (CQ) is having injury issues. Based on what? just a hunch?

The Soxtalk Committee on Closing
I'd give it to Putz, maybe Santos but not sure organization wants to do that yet. Keep Matt Thornton in the 8th, I love the guy but I simply think he won't handle the pressure. I know there's probably stats to prove me wrong, but I don't wanna see Matt in the 9th, gut feeling.
