Both Madrid and Barcelona subway system make it super easy to see everything there is to see. Barca has more tourist attraction I believe and while both cities are beautiful, Barca being a port town just takes the cake. As far as soccer tickets it's not going to be easy, I believe you need to reach out to a formal Real Madrid fan club, they have those all over the world and try to purchase tickets through them. If you still have troubles, I have bunch of friends in Europe who are into futbol, I will see if I can get some info for you.
