Nice hustle double for Bonifacio.

Trayce! Bomb to tie it.

QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Mar 17, 2015 -> 09:52 AM) Shameless. Yikes. Anyone keeping up with Last Man on Earth? Episode 3 was pretty great. I'm liking the show a lot. Shameless is one of those shows I don't have high expectations for each week. As long as there is a few laughs and some T&A, I don't need it to be an alltime great show. Last Man on Earth is fantastic, and I have a feeling it will evolve into something even better.

Bob Oliver? 30 years off there, Melty. http://www.baseball-reference.com/players/o/olivebo01.shtml Garret Anderson?

QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Mar 17, 2015 -> 04:01 PM) wow I thought Jose was going to hit that a mile. Hanging breaking ball popped up, too bad. He had a pitch his first at bat he should have crushed too. 20 days

This Melton Before Dark show is fantastic. Making the case for Dick Allen being in the Hall, and Konerko not...
-
Melton is talking and swearing.

10 years ago tomorrow... Palmeiro pointed his finger at Congress and McGwire said he wasn't there to talk about the past. Oh, and Sosa forgot how to speak English.

Bruised right tricep for Danish. Should be ok.

QUOTE (fathom @ Mar 16, 2015 -> 05:31 PM) Given the reaction by those that saw it, I'll be pleasantly surprised if nothing is broken. Agreed. And of course he should have been sent to minor league camp a week ago, but you can't put toothpaste back in the tube.

Davidson with back-to-back errors. Picture of Danish walking off... https://twitter.com/Norm_Clarke/status/577595164379652096

QUOTE (59th street @ Mar 16, 2015 -> 01:32 PM) Exactly; he is the 25th man. All the hand wringing over him is a little much. Soto as the back up catcher strikes me as being much more worrisome. It's hard to separate what he'll be with this team from what he was supposed to be as a starter. Everyone is just tired of seeing his sorry ass hit, and him talking about his swing and how he's relaxed now. Whatever, go play for somebody else.

QUOTE (Lillian @ Mar 16, 2015 -> 11:55 AM) Regarding Soto: Can he throw? Isn't there an issue with his arm? He threw one into CF yesterday. You know Shuck is a lefty?

Just a scenario that could happen--not saying it will... Maybe they push back Sale's first start to the second weekend in Detroit, and go with 13 pitchers until then. Samardzija, Quintana, Noesi, Danks, (Penny or Carroll) Duke, Jennings, Putnam, Petricka, Albers, Robertson (with 2 of Guerra, Webb, Surkamp, Cleto, and Penny or Carroll) Just load up with arms the first 8-9 games, and then add Sale and 4th outfielder, probably Shuck. Soto, Beckham, and Bonifacio can cover it until then--hopefully.

QUOTE (EvilJester99 @ Mar 16, 2015 -> 10:41 AM) Haven't been able to catch much of ST.. How has Davidson looked this spring. He was god awful last year. Hoping he turns it around. He looks about the same, but has been dealing with a left shoulder problem.

Road game today, so maybe they cut guys tomorrow (or they just ride it out until the off day Thursday). Rodon and Danish pitching today. https://twitter.com/JJStankevitz/status/577492484588068864
-
Hopefully 20 guys get cut by the Friday, so some of these games start to resemble the 2015 team.
-
Sox win. Rodon tomorrow. No local visual broadcast tomorrow.
-
Putnam looks good here. Nice arm if he stays healthy.
-
Hawkins looks at strike 3, and walks in front of the catcher to get Thompson out on interference. Youth. LOL.
-
Danks looks terrible today. Great throw by Eaton.

QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 15, 2015 -> 12:46 PM) If Sale starts the 5th game of the season, then you have Sale and Q back to back. You are always going to have back to back from the same hand with a 5 man rotation, At earliest, Sale will start the 6th game (4/12) but ultimately I'd like to see the order fall into Sale, Samardzija, Quintana, Danks, Noesi. I had Sale coming back on the 18th before Kenny said anything, and it still wouldn't surprise me if he doesn't make his first start until Detroit. -

My hope is Quintana gets the OD start, and they keep Samardzija on the same schedule he would have had with Sale in front of him. Plus then they would be messing withe L-R order if Smarj goes first. Just my humble opinion.
