  1. 8 K's thru 4 for Danish
  2. RBI single for Hawkins. 70 ribs.
  3. 6 K thru 3 for Danish. When is Montas back?
  4. Can I dream on a 2018 rotation of Sale-Rodon-Danish-Quintana-Adams?
  5. QUOTE (BigHurt3515 @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 04:19 PM) I bet he would be our 2nd best pitcher out of the pen on the MLB team If it were the late 1970's, he'd be sitting in the pen right now.
  6. Before today, Quintana was on pace to make 33 starts and 206 innings. Would 215-220 be better, yeah. But he takes the ball and does the most he can with what he has.
  7. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 03:59 PM) Sox win today, they are 4.5 gb.... I can't get excited about that until the Sox are .500.
  8. If the Sox would have won last night, I'd actually be enjoying scoreboard watching right now. That second wildcard may fall to 84 wins.
  9. The Sox pen did have a perfect four inning performance a few weeks ago. They should do that again.
  10. The Sox bullpen covering 4 inn. should be interesting.
  11. This game is just moving along....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.
  12. Tigers 61-47 at the 2/3 point. +50 in run diff and their bullpen has a 4.55 ERA. With Price now, that bullpen isn't going to be used a ton. They should win 95.
  13. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 02:59 PM) JJ Stankevitz ‏@JJStankevitz 2m Gordon Beckham was hitting .298 on June 10. Since: .161/.209/.293 (.503 OPS) in 192 PAs. 0-2 today. #WhiteSox I'm just counting the weeks down on him and Dunn, and a couple other guys. We're at 8.
  14. QUOTE (Timmy U @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 02:56 PM) Guy who hit him was former Sox farmhand Kanekoa Texeira, part of Swisher trade to Yankees. Figures. The curse of those Swisher trades continues. Thought the same thing when I saw who the pitcher was.
  15. Stone isn't going to Seattle next weekend, so I guess Wimpy will be back with grandpa.
  16. The beat reporters are calling it the "left elbow area".
  17. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Aug 3, 2014 -> 07:56 AM) Because he's had 4 days of rest and they're trying to get some sort of regular schedule established? Yeah, he'll probably pitch an inning every 3-4 days the rest of the minor league season. Actually, just looked it up--he is pitching today.
  18. http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?c...mp;ymd=20140803 Beck, Bassitt, and Danish starting today. Good bet Rodon gets in there today.
  19. Hopefully someday Adams is one of those guys picked in the 30-50 range that teams just kick themselves for not taking.
  20. Hahn on the Score...said Rodon's changeup has been impressive since he didn't use it much this year. No timetable, but it sounds like he has a shot to make it up in September. If you go by Sale's path in 2010, he had four games in Winston-Salem and seven games in Charlotte over four weeks. So September 1st is about right.
  21. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Aug 1, 2014 -> 11:23 PM) Jake Peter is 5-6 tonight.... 0-0 game in the 13th. That's tough to do.
  22. Snodgress- 1 inning of relief, 2 k's
