  1. Francisco last pitched on Wednesday. 1 inning. I love me some Putnam, but not sure why he's in there tonight. ...and there's the double, but a nice relay.

    Mitchell, 2-2, double Stubborn sob!
  3. QUOTE (LDF @ May 10, 2014 -> 06:02 PM) here is a very dumb question ..... how do you pick up sox weekly from outside IL? They usually podcast each week if you can't listen live through the web stream. http://chicago.cbslocal.com/audio/986-670-...-interviews#986

    Davidson is back tonight.
  5. I heard that Capra interview. The sigh when Rongey asked about Mitchell was all you really needed to hear. But then he spoke, and it was pretty shocking how much he said. Rongey also sounded dumb a couple times during that interview. It's obvious he didn't know Hawkins was at W-S last year, and didn't know about Anderson and Davidson's recent injuries.

Anderson not in the lineup. Hopefully tomorrow.
  7. Nola speaking post-game...
  8. https://twitter.com/JJStankevitz/status/465...0603904/photo/1 Sale throwing today.
  9. Nola with a complete game shutout. 4 hits, 0 bb, 9 k. 116 pitches, 86 strikes. Dammit, I really didn't want to have an opinion on this.
  10. I think the best thing about Cleto going is that Sox actually had better options to replace him. They aren't just shuffling deck chairs on the Titanic.
  11. https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/4652049...5080960/photo/1 Interesting. Different looking.
  12. He gone.
  13. QUOTE (DirtySox @ May 10, 2014 -> 01:44 PM) If as rumored that they aren't that into Kolek, then absolutely. Nola is in that next tier of arms. I'd still very much prefer Aiken/Rodon though. Yeah, I'm with you on that. I'm just assuming the Astros will go with Rodon and the Marlins take Aiken. Kolek scares me for some reason. High school kids that throw 100 just seem to be a recipe for eventual failure. Give me pitchability.
  14. Any chance Nola gets in the conversation for the Sox after today? I like the idea of taking somebody closer to the majors.

http://www.milb.com/scoreboard/index.jsp?c...mp;ymd=20140510 Looks like Danish has been moved back because of the fog last night.
  16. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ May 9, 2014 -> 10:47 PM) Nice to see Tyler's keeping up the positive momentum. Rienzo struggled from time to time but ended up with a quality start. Putnam continues to be awesome. What else can you say about this offense? It should be even better with Eaton and Gillaspie (and DeAza trending up), even with Ramirez/Dunn/Flowers/Viciedo falling back. Came up just short. He's 3-0, though.
  17. I think the error should have been on Odor. He threw his glove out and missed it.
  18. Sounds like playing on it, won't make it worse. They'll try to get him a game off on Wed before the Thursday off day.
  19. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ May 9, 2014 -> 09:50 PM) Let me know it's the 9th in that one Now
  20. Sox are 4-0 in Rienzo's starts.
  21. Darvish- 4 outs away.
  22. If this weekend gets Gibson fired, so be it. We'll take the three wins.

QUOTE (oldsox @ May 9, 2014 -> 09:35 PM) Mitchell Boggs did it again. After the post-draft shuffling...he gone. Or sooner.
  24. Darvish lost his perfect. Odor stunk it up on a pop-up.
  25. QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ May 9, 2014 -> 09:27 PM) Yu Darvish has a postgame show lined up through 6 IP MLB is due for a no-hitter.
