What are the rules for Ernie on the green? Does he have to make both putts? Or his first putt? Or can he make either of the two?

That Doug Fister trade still makes absolutely no sense and might be one of the biggest reasons they are where they are now.

If Stewart is really worth as much money as it seems, wouldn't it make the most sense to him for an out of court settlement? Give the family a few million and not let them talk about it anymore. Even if a civil court found him 100% not liable, he will have a negative light shined upon him from the public court of opinion, so a settlement wouldn't make things worse.

They haven't said anything yet, I bet they wait to see how Carroll is. But either way, I imagine Sale starts Monday, no need to diverge from the 5-man rotation, he can always use an extra day of rest.

Given their size of payroll year after year, two division titles since 2001 is pretty awful. With the franchise's all-time WS futility, I'd rather have the one World Series instead of 7 division titles and no ring, but they really should have been more successful.
