  1. At least we aren't Lions fans, LOLOL. The division was handed to them on a silver platter and they proceeded to throw up all over it.
  2. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 09:54 AM) I was comparing 20 points vs. 11 points both vs. horrible defenses. If it's on McCown the Bears only scored 20 vs. Minnesota, how can it not be on Cutler if they only score 11 vs. Philadelphia? Sure some of it is on Cutler, he didn't play his best game and a couple first downs early could have helped. But the defense also gave up 45 last night, while they gave up 23 in nearly 5 quarters vs. Minnesota. And Forte missed a couple of big blocks. And the offensive line was manhandled. And Hester fumbled early in the game. Those didn't happen vs. Minnesota, did they?
  3. QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 09:30 AM) Barring the Hester fumble I thought our ST was finally decent! What about the Podlesh punt that gave the Eagles a short field to start the game?
  4. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 09:27 AM) It won't be his fault. If the Bears only score 20 against Minnesota, it proves McCown isn't as good as his numbers. If they only score 11 vs. Philadelphia, it shows Jay didn't get enough help. Nothing like comparing a 3-point OT loss to a 43 point loss.

    Alright begin

Oh look, the Eagles just scored again!
  6. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 23, 2013 -> 12:44 AM) The Cards are a 10 win team with one of the best defenses in the NFL. Yeah everyone picked Seattle to win at home but the Cards aren't some 3 win s***ty team. They were playing for their playoff lives. Very defensive from your perch atop the bandwagon.
  7. QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 10:46 PM) Yeah and that '19 FA market looks like s*** too! By then the Yankees will acquire him anyway.
  8. QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 10:11 PM) The division means little. Whatever Trestman thinks is necessary to figure out who next year's QB should be is what he should be doing I think Trestman's mind is made up. That's why Cutler never lost his job.
  9. QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 10:08 PM) This will be when McCown crashes back down to Earth Better now than next week with the division on the line
  10. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 10:08 PM) Flip the QBs around. Rodgers defintely helps spread the defense enough to not stack 8 in the box for Lacy. stacking 8 in the box doesn't help with this defense. With Rodgers they will throw it some, with Flynn, run run run.
  11. Over/under on Eddie Lacy rushing yards next week? I say 185 if Flynn starts, 130 if Rodgers starts
  12. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 09:55 PM) Conte is just terrible And Craig Steltz is even worse
  13. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 09:52 PM) How is this defense so bad at stopping the run? Jay Cutler can't tackle
  14. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 09:51 PM) Chris Collinsworth loves superlatives and microcosms. Everything is the greatest, most impressive, craziest, etc. thing he has ever seen. And there are 5-6 plays a night that represent a team/game/season/franchise/reputation perfectly. That f*** is so annoying. IMO that's Jon Gruden. Collinsworth is way more honest and willing to criticize.
  15. QUOTE (Jake @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 09:46 PM) Can't believe you'd smear Brad Maynard's name like that Ha. This team might have one more win with Maynard, that's how bad Podlesh sucks.
  16. QUOTE (fathom @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 09:34 PM) It's pretty obvious which QB gives you the better chance of winning next week. Yup. Jay Cutler
  17. Bears Packers flexed to 3:25 next Sunday, barring a f***ing miracle comeback tonight.
  18. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 09:20 PM) That play isn't on him, it's on whoever couldn't block his man. True, but that wasn't exactly a hard tackle.
  19. Ugh, that's a safety. Not exactly a stellar day for Forte.
  20. QUOTE (chw42 @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 09:13 PM) Damn. I thought it was pretty hard to overturn that play. The ball was starting to come out when his knee hit. Yeah, I don't think that was indisputable evidence to overturn, but whatever, been enough ref talk today.
  21. Cowboys Eagles flexed to primetime next week. Bears Packers could still be moved to 300 though.
  22. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 08:24 PM) I hate Collinsworth. Really? I think he's great, not afraid to tell it like it is.
  23. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 07:22 PM) Considering how this season has gone, you could not ask for a better scenario Totally. I all but gave up after the Detroit home loss. Never figured they would choke that bad.
  24. QUOTE (Brian @ Dec 22, 2013 -> 07:24 PM) So just so I understand, Bears win and GN is done, right? Next week means nothing? Dont want a repeat of 09-10. Yes. Bears win and they clinch the North and a 3 seed. Green Bay would be done. Lose and next week is win or go home for both teams.
