  1. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 22, 2013 -> 12:27 PM) His shot selection is terrible. I haven't watched much so I haven't seen the shots he has taken, but judging from you guys, it seems like he deserves to be 1-11. Hope it continues in the 2nd half.
  2. Wisconsin better jump to a lead soon, because Henderson is bound to start making shots at some point.
  3. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 22, 2013 -> 10:36 AM) I-L-L Cmon seniors, out-tough and out-together them. One more in you. Do you want to be known as the class who couldn't win more NCAA games than Demetri McCamey? Hell no!
  4. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Mar 22, 2013 -> 10:36 AM) YEP! That's how it is in my bracket. My Epic Final 4 Matchups: Franco Harris vs The Paterno Family; Lance Armstrong vs Dating Oscar Pistorius This is like the Harbaugh brothers facing each other in the Super Bowl
  5. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 22, 2013 -> 10:55 AM) Got the browser up and ready to go for the Duke game. Once Miss/Wiscy starts, I'm switching, because that's going to be a better game than Albany-Duke. I hope you are wrong!
  6. How does a 12 seed get to play 30-40 miles from campus?
  7. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 02:08 PM) No, you need the obligatory good players shouldn't play in meaningless games post. If that were the case, guys like Walter Payton and Frank Thomas would have spent the majority of their careers sitting down. Why don't the Mariners shut down Felix Hernandez at the All-Star break every year? The second half of the year is completely meaningless for them, there is no point in him pitching.
  8. So much for my survivor pool. My mistake for betting on Alford as a 3 seed. Who can forget ?
  9. QUOTE (chw42 @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 05:30 PM) Oklahoma state...so bad. First time that an 8 seed played a 5 seed in the 1st round
  10. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 03:02 PM) They are so unknown that they aren't in the tournament. Does Anfernee Hardaway still play for them?
  11. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 02:32 PM) Early theme: bad offense. Not much has changed from the regular season.
  12. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 02:04 PM) Yeah, this is pretty cool. Nice, Hizzle. Oh by the way, I got a message from Soxobama. Apparently he fixed a bunch of cars and got paid a lot of money for it and will be out there with you, too. So you won't be alone. Ha!! he has to get his own reality show one of these days. Congrats Mhizzle!
  13. New Mexico State has a center that stands 7 foot 5
  14. so nice to start my survivor pool with an easy win, thanks MSU
  15. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 11:58 AM) http://wtfismikewearing.tumblr.com/
  16. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 12:18 PM) We all do, but he's an asshole. Its what drove him to be the greatest but also drives people away from him. That long 50th birthday article that followed him around showed that he hasn't changed one bit.
  17. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 10:54 AM) Except that my biggest idol, Jordan, never came back He should've been for us what Magic is to the Lakers. Considering what is going on in Charlotte, that might be a good thing. He's no Magic.
  18. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 10:02 AM) I'm in and I have no shot at winning given I have Illinois in the elite eight. Having the eventual national champion lose in the Elite 8 will definitely bust your bracket.
  19. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 09:50 AM) Remember his 25 tackle game vs Arizona in 2006? Ridiculous. I was at that game so awesome. Epitome of the Lovie/Angelo era, defense having to do anything & everything to win because of the offense's ineptitude.
  20. Urlacher was the man, probably a HOF, and I definitely will always remember his time with the Bears. But if he is gonna play the victim card here and drag the media along with him to make the Bears look bad, then I'll worry about the appreciation later. Get over yourself Brian, you aren't the player you used to be, accept it.
  21. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 05:27 AM) According to comments on facebook, yes. FWIW. I concur. Between the Urlacher news & the Wrigley scoreboard/Rosemont stuff, my Facebook feed was a mess yesterday.
  22. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Mar 21, 2013 -> 06:51 AM) I kinda got the feeling that Urlacher was most of the clubhouse problem.. That's what I was thinking too. I have to give the guy credit, he has done a great job putting the Chicago media in his back pocket. Some of this media reactions to this are ridiculous. Last time the Bears "insulted" a player like #54 it was Olin Kreutz. He played 4 games for the Saints before he called it quits.
  23. QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Mar 20, 2013 -> 08:00 PM) Makes sense. My question is how do you get 10 McDonald's All-Americans to play together as one. We shall see. I think it's a lot harder to do it without senior leadership than people think. I know they were super talented, but that's why I think Calipari actually did a great job of coaching last season. With 6 McDAAs, all sophomores & freshmen, he got them to play as a team, and most importantly, play defense. That's easier said than done with many kids like that.
