  1. I really wants Danksy to make it!!
  2. Absolutely. This guy has done so much for this team over the years. You dont dump him for a couple bad months, although it was super frusterating of course. PK will get back on track at some point after he returns. I am sure of it.
  3. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jul 2, 2008 -> 02:53 PM) Do you watch any other teams play? I keep up with other teams. 3rd base is one of the worst positions this year in the AL.
  4. Crede and Danks both totally deserve it. If either miss it I will be very upset.
  5. Godamn it! Is this some joke. Nice on the team to screw Danks over again also.
  6. QUOTE (DBAH0 @ Jun 9, 2008 -> 06:48 PM) Wouldn't say Alexander has much left, he's pretty slow and gimpy now. Kevin Jones would be an interesting choice though. I have the Bears at 6-10 currently. No decent QB, and no real good RB's or WR's of note. I dont even know who will be the Bears QB. I dont like either Grossman or Orton and I have no confidence in either of them. Quite frankly they both suck and neither deserve a starting QB job in the NFL. I was expecting the Bears to make a move at QB somehow, but come to think of it this years FA QB class was horrendous and this was a weaker draft year for QBs also. I thought maybe they would try and make a trade for Quinn or something. Basically though the WR corps sucks and those hoping for Bradley to make a breakthrough are even more likely to be dissapointed now with his injury news. The running game is a big question mark, hope to god Forte is good, but it would be nice to have someone better to share some of the work now that Benson is good. The O-line still is terrible. The whole offense is very worrisome and who knows if the defence can get back to their 2005-2006 level anytime soon or not.
  7. Danks did not have his best game today but showed what a tough competitor he is by battling through it, and thankfully the bats came up big late in the game when needed. I am so excited to see this team open up a large lead in the division now. This is such an extremely talented team and I had very high hopes for them before this season. I really thought they could make the playoffs, even though alot of the so called experts had them pegged for one of the last places. I am very much hoping they make the playoffs this year and if they dont I would be dissapointed since I really believe they are capable and a good enough team this year to make it.
  8. Crede is such a good person. If he wasnt brainwashed by the horrible Boras I am sure he would take a hometown discount, as long as it wasnt too unreasonable.
  9. YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!! What a worthless wasted #4 pick. Very sad to waste such a valuable pick on total rubbish but that happens sometimes. So glad he is gone. I hope his worthless ass is not seen in the NFL ever again.
  10. If Crede is no longer a White Sox because of Boras I will personally hunt him down, LOL!
  11. I love Joe as both a person and a player. Personally I think he is a very underrated player who has been robbed many times of his career of desrving honors, the joke excuse of the All Star game in 2006, a Gold Glove atleast once, the AL series MVP award in 2005 (possibly even the World series MVP). I want so much for there to be some way for him to stay. I want him to be a White Sox for life.
  12. Swisher hasnt proven squat for me. I am impatiently waiting for more from him.
  13. YEAAAAHHH!! Great comeback win for the Sox after a tough game yesterday. Some offense needed to win the game too and they produce.
  14. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ May 27, 2008 -> 07:02 PM) I don't exactly think he's sporting a lot of minor league options right now. Why worry about that. If he is exposed to other teams and someone takes him off the White Sox hands for free, then good riddance.
  15. Wow Wasserman gets a strikeout. He actually does something good for once.
  16. QUOTE (thedoctor @ May 27, 2008 -> 01:03 PM) probably not. you likely have ramirez at short and richar at second on opening day next year. fields at third, too. I agree all of that, although who knows about Fields at third or not. Maybe Crede at 3rd, and Fields as DH? I expect Cabrera and Uribe both gone (thank goodness), and Ramirez perhaps moved to SS, Richar at 2nd.
  17. QUOTE (Reddy @ May 27, 2008 -> 11:50 AM) is richar really still in our plans? i feel like he's just dropped off the map entirely. i mean, i realize he's hurt, but now w/ alexei... doesn't he become expendable? I would hope he is still in the plans and I honestly think he would be also. Uribe is gone next year, I would bet money on that. Ramirez is doing decently but he has not yet done anything that locks him into the 2nd base job now and in years to come, atleast not yet. Richar is younger and his potential by the organization has been talked up quite a bit. I would think the middle infield situation is very much up in the air for next year, and Richar could definitely be a factor in it.
  18. QUOTE (shipps @ May 27, 2008 -> 08:37 AM) Alexei is such a fun player to watch I would love to see him there full time...but I dont know just because he is exciting doesnt validate him getting a full time job.In a year or so he will get his time to shine, now is probably not it. If it is going to take him a year to get there he might never make it, since in that case Richar might pass him by by then if he can stay healthy.
  19. I think he should be put on the DL until fully healed since he isnt helping the team at all now. The unfortuante thing is I think he was already in a slump and even when he is fully healed he might not be performing that well.
  20. QUOTE (stretchstretch @ May 26, 2008 -> 07:27 PM) Pitching can only keep this teams in so many games where they score Totally agree. It is so frusterating when you expensive heart of the lineup who should all be top notch performers is like a huge black hole. Especialy frusterating when so many other things about the team have been so good this year.
  21. Crede defensively has not been his old self yet this year. I hope that isnt ramifications from his surgery and he will be back to his old level od defence or better eventually, especialy if there is any chance of him getting a contract extension here.
