  1. QUOTE (chiguy79 @ Sep 14, 2008 -> 10:02 PM) I am the opposite, football = nascar these days. And if you are a bears fan the product on the field isn't worth watching. Kyle Orton is a schill for management. I understand. Having season seats for so long though, the will I have hoping for a "W" from them every Sunday is ridiculous. Being at a game and watching Hester take a punt back for a TD > watching Jim Thome hit a 2 run HR.
  2. QUOTE (Tony82087 @ Sep 14, 2008 -> 09:58 PM) I don't know why, but I'm not any where near as mad as I usually am about these kind of happenings. At this point, with all the injuries, and where this team was at this point last season, it's not that I'm not "committed" as a Sox fan, but I'm just kind of rolling with the games, not getting as worked up as I usually would. I'm going to get shredded to pieces here for saying this, but like you said, a year ago I'm pi$$ed off, but today, it's just like "well, okay, it doesn't matter". Maybe it's because once football starts, every year, even in 2005, football becomes my #1 sport.
  3. Owens, Uribe, Swisher HERE COMES THE MEAT OF THE ORDER, BABY
  4. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 14, 2008 -> 09:54 PM) Then move. I'm working on it.
  5. Bears lose Sox suck Zambrano throws a no-no Bulls are ghey Chicago blows.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 14, 2008 -> 07:40 PM) Please don't let Zambrano throw a no-hitter Through 7, now.
  7. We're just man-handling the Tiggers, and rightfully so. This isn't a very good team as whole, however their offense is and Danks is lights out so far.
  8. Had my first fantasy hockey draft today. I had the 2nd pick, and there were 12 teams in the league. C Crosby C Kopitar LW Nash LW Prospal RW Kane RW Boyes D Duncs D Burns D Meszaros D Spacek G Turco G LeClaire BN Dubinsky BN Vrbata RN Hamrlik BN Vermette Thoughts?
  9. As of now with the Fresno loss, you have to think BYU will be that team who slips into a BCS game. Either them, or ECU.
  10. QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Sep 14, 2008 -> 02:11 PM) Don't worry WT. The Bears get to beat them twice as well If on 2nd/1 and 3rd/1 we pass, if on 4th/1 we run with our terrible FB, and if our "nasty and dangerous" TE fumbles twice, they'll beat our a**es.
  11. I blame Lovie Smith. If he really approves of the play like he said he does on defense, then why the hell does he let McKie run there? Wow.
  12. How do you, on 2nd and 1 with the 2 minute warning looming, pass twice when you have a stud RB?
  13. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 14, 2008 -> 02:53 PM) Yes, he's usually very good after the catch. Find me a highlight of him running a guy over. WHAT THE F*** ARE WE DOING HERE?! 2ND AND 1- RUN THE F***ING BALL YOU F***ING MORONS!!
  14. QUOTE (Brian @ Sep 14, 2008 -> 01:40 PM) Outside of a couple of false starts, the O-Line has been good against a good Carolina D-Line. Not sure what Tait has done wrong today. Olsen? Soft? BS. Horrible fumble as I felt the Bears were gonna score on that drive, but he isn't soft. Have you ever seen him knock somebody on their a** blocking? Have you ever seen him make a catch and run somebody over?
  15. A couple thoughts: John Tait sucks. Orton looks okay, I'd like to see Hester, Forte, and Clark get more touches (receiving touches for Forte, I mean). Forte looks pretty solid. The defense looks great. Olsen sucks and is soft as hell. Brad Maynard- get your head out of your a**! KEEP RUNNING THE DAMN BALL
  16. Chiefs remaining schedule: Oakland Raiders at Atlanta Falcons Denver Broncos at Carolina Panthers Bye Tennessee Titans at New York Jets Tampa Bay Buccaneers at San Diego Chargers New Orleans Saints Buffalo Bills at Oakland Raiders at Denver Broncos San Diego Chargers Miami Dolphins at Cincinnati Bengals The only games they MIGHT win are today vs Oakland, @ Oakland later in the year, Miami, and Cincinnati. I'm saying 2 or 3 wins for KC.
  17. I loved Joe. His defense was great and even though his bat was inconsistent at times, the D made up for it. Now, I want him out of town, and rightfully so. Thank you for 2005, Joe!
