  1. I would have liked Ogletree or Eifert.
  2. Hey we got a guard!
  3. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 25, 2013 -> 09:25 PM) TE Gruden? Did you not look at your notes?! According to ESPN, Martellus Bennett sucks.
  4. Booz is on fire now.
  5. Luol Deng is on fire. Gerald Wallace...when Luol Deng crosses you over...you should just retire.
  6. Gerald Wallace is throwing up air balls.
  7. Boozer with 3 turnovers in 5 minutes...
  8. Well, Dunn did walk 3 times yesterday.
  9. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 25, 2013 -> 02:45 PM) I'd have zero problem with Manti. LB is a big need going forward and Manti will be a good player. The only thing Manti will be good at is getting played by online groupies.
  10. QUOTE (Eminor3rd @ Apr 25, 2013 -> 10:58 AM) But whose seat will Southpaw take to do the wavey arm thing in the third inning? That's by far the coolest thing any mascot can do.
  11. QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Apr 25, 2013 -> 11:46 AM) **BREAKING NEWS REGARDING ROSE'S STATUS FOR TONIGHTS GAME!!** https://twitter.com/nickfriedell/status/327454340103147520 What a surprise!
  12. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Apr 25, 2013 -> 11:11 AM) via deadspin via reddit Yu Darvish is now my favorite non-White Sox pitcher. He's a fantasy baseball stud this year.
  13. QUOTE (lostfan @ Apr 25, 2013 -> 11:25 AM) I've never had any problems with T-Mobile's coverage except the stadium issue. Speed is decent enough, similar technology to AT&T I guess. They're trying to add LTE to their network and this is how they'll do that, since they can't compete with the two giants. The thing is that businesses like to say "we'll be able to lower our costs if..." but they never do it, I didn't realize T-Mobile changed their entire pricing structure to accommodate this since it's something you need to proactively do on the site. I actually did lower my bill. So the idea of paying $20 a month for 2 years isn't that bad, if my bill will just go up to slightly more than it was before PLUS now I have unlimited data again. Or you know, you can just buy a the device up-front for ~$500-$600. The HTC One is $575 unlocked straight from HTC. There's always the Nexus 4 option too. I think if you actually buy the phone from them, you not only pay the $20 a month, but that counts as part of your wireless bill, which means you'll be subject to a wireless tax on the phone as well, which may go up to 20% in some states. Totally unnecessary if you ask me.
  14. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Apr 25, 2013 -> 10:54 AM) If T-Mobile or one of the other cheaper carriers had the coverage I needed, I would go with them in a heartbeat. But their out of city coverage just doesn't exist. Hell, from the people I know that have Sprint, their IN city coverage isn't all that spectacular, either. There's usually less traffic on T-Mobile, so data speeds are usually good if you have a device that can use their HSPA+42 network. I've had no issues with T-Mobile in Chicago suburbs or in Champaign-Urbana. The only thing that really sucked about T-Mobile is that I couldn't get signal in my office at work since I worked in a big steel/glass building. T-Mobile's higher frequencies are bad for building penetration.
  15. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Apr 24, 2013 -> 10:55 PM) I'm fairly superstitious. But the s*** Valverde does is awful.
  16. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 17, 2013 -> 05:05 PM) Hawk hates sabermetrics because they show he was an even more brutal ballplayer than everyone already knew. Hawk only had maybe 2 good years in his entire career. Unless he thinks he's hot s***, I think he already knows he wasn't all that good.
  17. QUOTE (flavum @ Apr 24, 2013 -> 11:32 AM) Hawk will be on MLB Now on Thursday to discuss his love of Sabremetrics. Oh lawd. Expect a Deadspin article.
  18. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 24, 2013 -> 07:22 PM) That Delmon Young HR still pisses me off so much. Delmon Young doing anything productive against us pisses me off. He's a bad baseball player.
  19. QUOTE (Jake @ Apr 24, 2013 -> 06:22 PM) I've never had a 4G device so I was unaware that 3G sucked??? 3G is around 5-7 mbps. Even T-Mobile's HSPA+ gets me 15 mbps. Verizon's LTE gets you 20 mbps easy. In good areas, you can get up to 50 mbps.
  20. I wasn't even aware there was a game this early...s***.
  21. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 24, 2013 -> 02:58 PM) I think we're talking big cities, are we not? Sprint doesn't have 4G LTE in every major city though.
  22. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 24, 2013 -> 09:55 AM) Sprint. Best prices anywhere. Everything 450 plan cannot be beaten. If you don't have 4G LTE in your area Sprint f***ing blows since they put you on 3G. Not HSPA+, but 3G.
  23. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Apr 23, 2013 -> 11:10 PM) So I think we are going to buy an Ipad to serve as a baby monitor (vs. buying an independent baby monitor). It will serve two purposes...one our entertainment and eventually our kids...and 2 a baby monitor (which can be synched to our laptop, iphone's, etc). I have never looked into one before and I'll ultimately end up googling some stuff too, but is a new one coming out soon. Not sure I'd buy the new one...but figure I'd get the price cut on the older version. You'll definitely end up using it for #1 as opposed to #2. And I don't think a new one is coming out for at least 3-4 months.
  24. QUOTE (IlliniKrush @ Apr 23, 2013 -> 03:26 PM) No bad White Sox baseball tonight Yay!
  25. Paul George gets MIP.
