Netflix has incentive to release episodes every week as opposed to all at once. It keeps viewers interested and it keeps viewers subscribed longer. For all I know, a lot of people probably just get the one month trial and never subscribe afterwards. I do love binge viewing though.

Paper does seem nice, but I think that's the first mobile app FB's made that people have actually liked. The FB app has always been kind of "eh" on iOS and Android (Android specifically). It's not a great app, but you kind of need to use it if you have FB.

There's a few 3rd party clients that are way lighter, much better looking, and less resource intensive. I personally use Klyph. But since FB's API is...well...lacking, the app doesn't have all the functionality the FB app has.
