That is a lot for 2 months of Ray. Mendez is 50 FV on Pipeline.

Yup, they're waiting for the bidding war.

You'd hope so given it's within the division

I shoulda looked at the profile lol

Hmm Detmers went for less than Soriano. Ayers isn't top 100, but is having a really good year.

Rays love Marlins catchers I guess.

This trade makes no sense

They're definitely not cutting Thorpe for the likes of Joe Rock lol

They have been pretty bad since the ASB

Yeah it's basically just Nimmala.

It's not that Nimmala is better, it's that they'd have to offer better than him to get either guy (or at least Soriano). And the only similar prospect the Sox have that is definitely better is Bonemer.

Nimmala is a better prospect, but there are some similarities there with Carlson maybe having a higher ceiling if they ever unlock his power. Controllable pitchers have definitely been expensive this deadline.

Yeah, getting either Soriano or Detmers is going to require giving up Bonemer.

Twins comeback just to get walked off again

Couldn't have been worse than Bazardo.

Seranthony might be a nice upgrade for Seattle, given that they've got Bazardo sucking it up for them.

The Nationals also did well to sell high on 2 guys having great years.

Thank goodness for Ali Sanchez and Edgar Quero, I guess. Also a shoutout to Paul Blackburn.

So will many baseballs up in Toronto.

Gemini is pretty terrible at baseball analysis, FWIW. I tried talking to it about trade candidates and it consistently had them on the wrong teams.

We were rumored to also give them Wolkow.

We can't give up on him cause we really have no better options in CF.

Why the hell is Chase bunting when you got 2 automatic outs behind him?

Peters breaks his slump

Beni Bomb!
