LaRussa retiring on Monday
That's assuming he stays healthy. His arm troubles this year were very concerning.

Fire Rick Hahn
James Click might get let-go by Houston. Do the right thing and clean house Jerry.

Official NBA 22-23
Knowing the Bulls' recent lottery luck, they could finish with the worst record and end up picking 4th.

White Sox Mgr Speculation Thread
Looks like Bochy and Alomar are the front runners.

Fire Rick Hahn
The team has been sleep walking since the ASB last year.

10/5- Twins at Sox, 3:10
Back to back years of losing the final game 10-1...

10/5- Twins at Sox, 3:10
Yikes...this guy comes out of nowhere to be good and then injures his elbow in the last game of the season. Just White Sox luck.

Your 2023 Off-Season Plan
Vaughn's fading offense the past 2 years in September has really made him look just alright as a hitter. When in reality he looked pretty good for the first 4 months of the season in both years. Vaughn has way more value in the future on the Sox than he does in a trade. You'd be selling low on him right now.

10/4- Twins at Sox, 7:10
Cueto and Andrus have probably given the Sox around 6 wins and that's a conservative estimate. So they'd probably be 10 games under without them.

Will Abreu be a White Sox in 2023?
Sounds like he ain't coming back unless we trade Vaughn.

10/3- Twins at Sox, 7:10
This guarantees a 2nd place finish I think, so it's real important to Jerry.

10/3- Twins at Sox, 7:10
He looked like he was gonna fall over after almost every pitch. I'm thinking he's not gonna pitch the next 2 games. He looked like this when he went on the IL against the Rangers.

Wallner had no intention of getting out of the way.

10/3- Twins at Sox, 7:10
Liam is clearly pitching through pain. He looks like he's about to explode after every pitch.

Liam not looking so good in a back to back game.

LaRussa retiring on Monday
It's either retain him or trade Vaughn. It really makes no sense to trade Vaughn since he's got 4 years of cheap control left and is 10+ years younger. Jose will still be a decent player for another year or two, but the money can be spent better elsewhere.

Fire Rick Hahn
A lot of the moves recently definitely had TLR's involvement. Just look at how many guys we've acquired recently that used to play for LaRussa - Lynn, Kelly, Pollock, and Lamb.

That's true. I don't think either of those guys should get a chance to be an OFer in the future. Sheets has improved, but I don't think he has the speed and athletic ability to play out there. Same with Vaughn.

Rick Hahn presser, non-MGR info
Hard to blame pitchers for not trusting our fielders cause they do indeed suck. But you can't be a winning team and have that kind of mentality.
-
LaRussa retiring on Monday
Sounds like he meant it's his opinion. He didn't get it from Rick Hahn lol

Get ready for some penny pinching.

LaRussa retiring on Monday
Sheets should be a guy they platoon at DH/1B. Hopefully, neither of them should see OF work ever again unless it's an emergency.
-
LaRussa retiring on Monday
Speaking of Sheets... His defense has actually gotten much better. He's still not good, but his OAA/DRS numbers actually don't look disastrous. If you wanted to see disastrous, look at Andrew Vaughn's fielding numbers.

Hahn basically saying if he were in charge, he'd fire himself.

Constantly posting about firing yourself would be something else.
