Man Colson sucks so hard right now

Melton is due for regression eventually. He's been incredible, but his peripherals say he's a mid 3 ERA type pitcher and not his ERA below 2 like it is now.

His fastball location could be better, but the change up working for him is huge.

Finally a good challenge

Castillo can't throw the fastball for strikes. This is like the opposite of his last start.

Castillo actually throwing the change up effectively so far.

Hayes at least plays great defense. Romo really has no redeeming values.

Felt like the offense called it a day after they got the 4-0 lead.

His stake in UWM is half his net worth. But he can't buy the team for another 3 years. Unless UWM goes under, he should be ok.

I don't think Sam had much of a plan in that at bat. He was just trying to survive. Good effort, but you've gotta do everything you can to pull a ball on the ground there at least. But then again, it's not like the guys after him can be depended on to drive the guy from 3rd in.

Yeah I don't ever see him figuring it out. He just tries to pull every pitch and always swings over it. He had a nice stretch but has been pretty bad recently.

Meanwhile the Reds challenged any close pitch with just 1 challenge left and got 3 overturned.

This game is on Venable. I know Hudson didn't exactly get hit hard, but it made no sense to use him in the 8th. 4 righties in a row coming up including 2 who murder lefties at the back end of it. It's like Will didn't want him to possibly face Stewart when he took him out for Taylor. Then he made the same mistake in the 10th, using another lefty against the same part of the order. Toglia and Elly had no issues hitting deep enough fly balls to get the run in. Venable has been god awful on this homestand. From the Schultz incident, to using Richards to close, and now this. We lose a game we were in control of and now we probably won't see Taylor the rest of the series cause we just wasted 2 innings from him.

Oh god, we got our slowest runner at 2nd in extras...

I didn't understand the curve ball to Stephenson. He was just looking at the sinker at 99 the previous 2 pitches. You want him to pound that pitch into the ground for a double play.
