2022 Playoffs Divisional Round
Holmes looks nowhere near as good as he was early in the season.

2022 Playoffs Divisional Round
How does he keep doing this and not get benched?

2022 Playoffs Divisional Round
Upset city in game 1. It's looking like sitting around for 5 days is not an advantage.

2022 Wildcard Round
I laughed at this...but this is actually happening.

Will Abreu be a White Sox in 2023?
Chapman and Diekman would be known as the 7 walks per 9 brothers.

Your 2023 Off-Season Plan
He's worth the contract if you believe he can stay healthy. If he's not able to throw at least 50 innings a year in the next 2 years, he's not worth the contract.

White Sox Mgr Speculation Thread
And then they failed to show up in the playoffs, just like Shildt's team. I don't want the guy to manage the Sox, but I also don't think he was the reason the Cardinals lost a close wild card game to one of the best teams in baseball.

Your 2023 Off-Season Plan
Tender: Giolito, Lopez, Cease, Kopech: $21.6 MM

2022 Wildcard Round
I wouldn't mind Bassitt as an addition to the rotation but he might be out of our price range.

2022 Wildcard Round
They play tomorrow and Wednesday. But get an off day on Thursday. Darvish could go Wednesday on full rest since he last pitched on Friday. They might have to start Clevinger in game 1.

2022 Wildcard Round
It's pretty hilarious. Never thought I'd see umpires massage guys' hair and ears.

2022 Wildcard Round
Looks like every road team besides Tampa will win their series. So much for home field.

Bob says the Sox will not re-sign Jose and that everyone is available for trade except Cease and Vaughn. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/mlb/columnist/bob-nightengale/2022/10/09/2022-mlb-award-predictions-aaron-judge-mvp-cy-young-rookie-picks/8221158001/

Your 2023 Off-Season Plan
Pollock actually hit close to his career averages in the 2nd half of the season and his defense was also much. better. But he's just a frustrating player to watch. Constantly popping the ball up on the infield and not being able to hit RHP gets real old. I think there is a chance he can rebound to being a 2+ WAR player next year, but that's not changing the outlook of this team.

2022 Wildcard Round
Phillies went from 7 games under, firing their manager, to making the playoffs and beating a pretty good Cardinals team in the first round. If only another team with a bad manager did something similar.

2022 Wildcard Round
I don't think any of them are wrong answers. Goldschmidt was the best hitter in the NL.

2022 Wildcard Round
They must have come across whatever the White Sox hitters were reading.

2022 Wildcard Round
Goldy and Arenado both choked big time. Cardinals might be done.

2022 Wildcard Round
I think they want him to get the top and middle of the order out and have Ottavino pitch to the bottom of the order. Not the worst idea but if it blows up people are all gonna ask why they didn't save Diaz for the 9th.

2022 Wildcard Round
Only 26% sliders this game, although he threw his slider 6% more this year than he did last year.

2022 Wildcard Round
So what exactly is different about deGrom this year? The guy is still throwing 100+. The location doesn't look terrible. Yet guys had no chance against him last year but he actually looks hittable this year.

[RUMORS] Possible clubhouse drama information leaked?
I read this before he removed the backstory. The backstory didn't make a whole lot of sense. Apparently he works at Panera and at the ER? Maybe I misread that part or am misremembering it. Either way, I find it hard to believe anybody would talk this long and in this detail to a stranger about gossip at their job. All this must have taken hours to talk about.

2022 Wildcard Round
Mariners seem like a team of destiny. Down 8-1 in the 6th and now up 10-9.

2022 Wildcard Round
The Twins just roll over for the Yankees no matter what. The players all change yet the same mental block is there. It's so weird. I think the Rays were just bad and cold. Yandy and Randy were their only real threats offensively. None of those guys really scare you as they aren't huge power threats. Wander was supposed to be the guy for them but he was mostly hurt this year. The Yankees at least have 5 or 6 guys that will make you respect their ability to hit the ball out of the park. It'll be interesting to see how they do against Bieber since they've hit him well historically.
