Ok calm down Tony.

Had Benson missed that, Yoan would have had a shot at the cycle.

What are you doing Yaz?

Luis Robert to the IL
This goes back all the way to last season. The Sox hit 4 homers against the Yankees in the FoD game with Cairo as manager. Tony wasn't there against the Rangers and the Sox scored 8 runs. Before that game they had scored 5 runs in 3 games. Tony's mere presence sucks the life out of the offense.

Maybe we see Ruiz or Diekman in the 9th, depending on who's up.

Just don't throw Gonzalez low breaking pitches. He golfs all of them far.

I think Cairo is also haunted by the Guardians coming back from down 6.

Is Oscar Gonzalez's walk-up song Sponge Bob SquarePants? lmao

Rosario leads the AL in infield hits. Nevermind all the seeing eye singles he gets. He's really annoying to play against.

Why is Lance still in? Cairo has really let his starters go deep in games. Sometimes to his detriment.

Yoan having one of his really good games. Now watch him get like 1 hit against Detroit.

Benson looks humongous.

It's weird that Lynn threw so many curveballs against the Mariners but then just completely ditched it the past 2 starts. Part of it might have been the shadows in Seattle, but he was also throwing them a lot more prior to that start.

Yoan rushed that.

Mr. infield pop up. What sucks is that with Robert still hurt, he has to play almost every day since the alternative is Engel.

Here I thought Sheets and Vaughn sucked in the OF, but Oscar Gonzalez made both of them look good there.

The Twins need to get solid starting pitching. Unfortunately, they just wasted Gray and Ryan against the Royals. I think they'll both pitch against the Twins, but the Twins will also be throwing Archer, Bundy, and Winder. All of them failed to go even 5 innings against the Guardians in the last series.

Joe nearly sent Yaz to his death there.

Pollock and Sheets almost ran into each other. That's AJ's ball if he called for it.

I think today has more to do with the Guardians throwing a BP machine.

Seems like Tito wants that series more than just this one game. They really only need to win 1 game for the tie breaker.

Under Cairo, the pattern has been lose a game then win 4 straight. Then go 1-2 and then win 4 straight. LWWWWLWLWWWWLWL Let's hope this continues.

They cancelled this game even though it stopped raining saying the playing surface was too dangerous to play on. They might have been right, but they also somehow managed to skip a Dylan Cease vs. Aaron Civale matchup for the 2nd time this season.
