  1. Come on, just don't lose yards or turn it over. At least score 3 here.
  2. Damn, what a play by the defense there. Wait, NVM, Brandon Jacobs just sucks.
  3. Well, that was sort of expected.
  4. Woah, we're almost in field goal range.
  5. QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 09:43 PM) Blaming Jay Cutler for that first half is like blaming a woman for getting raped. This is a pretty good analogy, because Cutler was raped in a football sense.
  6. I feel like I'm watching the Chad Hutchinson days of Bears football right now.
  7. QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 09:34 PM) I just laughed out loud. No it wasn't. There has not been any point in the season where this offensive line has been "fine." Fine as int it wasn't a total failure.
  8. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 09:32 PM) Normally I would say yes, but the talent base for the Bears at O-Line is just pitiful. This same line was fine last week for some reason.
  9. Tice should be fired after this game, seriously.
  10. That phantom 1st down screwed us. Would have been 3rd and 6, instead it was 1st and 15.
  11. What kind of a f***ing run play is that? This is one of the worst coached games I've ever seen.
  12. QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Oct 3, 2010 -> 09:17 PM) Idonije is being held big time and no call. They took back a holding call on Bradshaw's nice run earlier in the game. There were two holdings on that play, right next to each other too.
  13. Ugh, this defense is playing great. Such a winnable game.
  14. This is absolutely f***ing disgusting.
  15. What the hell is going on? Is Cutler mentally destroyed?
  16. Here's a tip: RUN SHORTER ROUTES. They're running Knox and Hester down the sideline 20 yards away, Cutler doesn't have that kind of time to let the play progress. They need to run those plays they ran against the Cowboys after Cutler was destroyed early in that game.
  17. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Sep 28, 2010 -> 12:00 PM) I call bulls***. Both teams made mistakes and while the Packers had a ton of penalties a lot of those holdings were because that was the only thing the oline could do to stop peppers. The false starts, they were scared of Peppers. And you talk about the couple interceptions that were turned back. Well, a helmet shot forced a Cutler pass short and thus an interception and that was an evident PI on the long ball to Bennett. It was an intentional under-throw (it floated too long though) but without the PI Bennett is there, although he probably doesn't make the catch (as the Packer safety would have given him a good hit), but there wouldn't have been a pick on the ball. I'll take the win and I thought our defense did well. It forced Rodgers to do the under-neath stuff and held up when it needed to in the red zone. Giving up 17 points against the Packers offense is a very good thing, imo. And all the while we missed a ton of tackles and didn't play our best. Did GB, absolutely not. But I think the Bears learned a lot about themselves this game and they will continue to improve as the season progresses. They might just be a much better team than I thought they were. Clearly, our oline is still a massive work in process, but I have faith in Tice and I also know the Bears have draft picks during this years draft to help address the line. I'll take the win and while Cutler didn't have a great game, he played tough and helped them win. f*** yes. How's that bulls***? The Packers made a ton of stupid mistakes and seemingly outplayed the Bears for pretty much the entire first half. There's no doubt they're the more talented team, they just didn't play like a very smart one. That's like saying the Sox didn't give a game away after losing to the Royals or Indians after 5 balks and 5 errors.
  18. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Sep 28, 2010 -> 12:14 AM) "Next summer, I shall take my talents to South Beach to play with LeBron." I have a feeling that Paulie's game might be similar to Brad Miller's...xD
  19. Who would have thought the Bears would be the last undefeated team in the NFC after 3 games?
  20. QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 27, 2010 -> 10:45 PM) Yeah, did the officials just call the play dead because it was clearly not going to count? They should have called it dead on the first forward pass. What the hell was that guy thinking?
  21. The Packers gave the Bears this game.
  22. 3-0!!!! That got ridiculous on the laterals.
  23. Squib it on the kickoff.
  24. Packers will have one play left.
