  1. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 07:55 PM) Chipper breaks up the no-no It was bound to happen.
  2. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 07:54 PM) kyyle was right in the beginning thrad. Mazzarro has no record and we haven't faced him before so it will be a long night It's only impossible to hit a guy with a 0.00 ERA...
  3. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 07:51 PM) Beckham's 1-3 double and 2 rocket outs. Can we call him up for tomorrow?? Of course not, Ozzie said he doesn't know why fans are so excited about him. Because we all love Bacon! Yes, he called Beckham Bacon.
  4. That was a very unspectacular inning to say the least.
  5. QUOTE (knightni @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 07:49 PM) How sad is it to be hanging out on the internet on your birthday? I'm too old to have birthday parties anyhow.
  6. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 07:46 PM) Oh come on..it's the 2nd inning, and we've had 4 base runners. We've had really good situational hitting lately, so don't jump off the bandwagon yet. Shhhh!...don't burst my temporary bubble.
  7. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 07:44 PM) The games I've seen him pitch this year, his command has been impeccable. But it's Randy Wells!
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 07:44 PM) Bases loaded, 1 out, rookie pitcher on the mound, and we get nothing. We had first and second.
  9. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 07:43 PM) Not to jinx it, but Randy Wells has a no-hitter after 6 innings. How funny would that no-hitter be?
  10. We're back to classic White Sox baseball folks, where situational hitting just does not exist.
  11. At least we put 28 pitches on this guy...
  12. Come on Pods...it should be 1-1 right now.
  13. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 12:55 PM) Wii: New Super Mario Bros 4 player Super Mario Galaxy 2 Metroid Other M (3rd person from Team Ninja) Wii Sports Resort (Looks cool, basketball is in it) Lots of Motion+ Focus Vitality Sensor Dead Space Extraction Resident Evil Something or other The Conduit looks great No More Heroes 2 TMNT:Smash-up Rabbids And Red Steel 2 looks like game of the year Red Steal 1 sucked. Conduit and Dead Space are the games that looked good from here. Sony really pwned it IMO. If only the PSP Go! didn't leak before E3, it would have been even better.
  14. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Jun 2, 2009 -> 12:59 AM) As Thunderbolt got at, Thome's always been a great hitter, and great hitters are usually clutch. Thome's been doing this for a while. 500 was a walk-off, 550 was a game winning 3 run homer, what's he going to do with 600? The game-winning shot in game 163 in 2010.
  15. He needs to look at some 2007 tape. At least he was hitting home runs back then. He's literally a singles hitter at 3B right now.
  16. Mazarro's been dominant in the minors. He's got a mid 90s fastball and a good sinker, along with a change-up (uh-oh) and a slider. Good control and a decent K per 9 innings ratio. Let's hope this offense hops on him while he's still got some butterflies.
  17. You give up a hit to a guy hitting .48 and then a walk to a guy hitting .188. Note to Ozzie: he's losing it.
  18. QUOTE (mr_genius @ Jun 1, 2009 -> 08:55 PM) your pick to click? Sure, put me down.
  19. Nice, that's Cunningham's second hit in about 25 ABs. Great!
  20. Whatever you do, don't walk Cunningham.
  21. Cunningham has one hit in like 20 ABs. Watch him get one here.
  22. Gavin's starting to get hit pretty hard.
