Offensive Stats Update
I'm assuming highest. Which in those 2 stats means bad.

If the team has to sell, who would you be willing to part with…
Giolito isn't getting you much back until he starts pitching better. If this team goes farther south and sells, I think they gotta get rid of anyone who might not be here past next year: Lynn, Hendriks, Giolito. The SP market probably won't be that saturated by the deadline, so there is a chance you can get something good back for a guy like Lynn.

Imagine...
I don't think I've ever heard of a team giving a standing order to its players to not play hard in fear of getting injured.

2021-22 NBA Thread
I like how Lakers fans thought DeRozan was going to take the MLE to play for them last year, but money won out over him going back home. You'd think the same would happen in this Kyrie situation and this is all a bluff to get the Nets to trade him, but Kyrie is crazy and stupid, so you never know.

Is Kyrie really dumb enough to walk away from $30 million to go play for the Lakers?

2022 AL Central catch all thread
Is the LSU pitching coach job that much better than the Twins pitching coach job? Seems like a move down for him.

That's an at least we took 1 out of 4 against the Orioles
This is a weird team. They play way better on the road cause they actually hit on the road. Hitting at home is apparently impossible for them.

Sometimes We Need to Go Backward Before We Can Move Forward
Let's be real, even if this team does turn it around and win the Central, they'll probably lose in the WC round or the ALDS. The AL is stacked this year and the Astros and Yankees are clearly better than the rest of the league. Yes, I know the Braves won the WS last year. They're the exception and not the norm. Punting on this year and getting rid of this awful coaching staff and FO might be the reset this rebuild really needs to right itself. It's entirely possible to retool after a lost season. Look at what the Twins did after that disaster last year.

GT 6/25: BAL @ Sox (1:10pm)
He didn't have them ready to play yesterday and apparently he didn't have them ready today either.

They all gotta go.

GT 6/25: BAL @ Sox (1:10pm)
The Orioles have a total payroll of $46 million this year. The Sox are almost paying the relievers on the team that much this year.
