Hendricks is getting a lot of calls off the corner thus far. Narvaez's framing numbers are better but he still looks awkward when he yanks pitches back too aggressively.

Oh I agree. He's perfect if you need somebody in the 5th or 6th inning. I just hope we'll never push him to pitch the 8th like he did a few times last year.

I think it's cause Ruiz seems to never pitch well when it actually matters. He did look decent once or twice in a high leverage situation, but he usually got smacked when he had to hold a small lead late. The numbers back this up too. Low leverage: 53.1 IP, 3.25 FIP Med leverage: 9.2 IP, 7 FIP High leverage: 2 IP, 9.2 FIP

Having 2019 Moncada back would be great, but if you get post-injury 2021 Robert and 2020 Eloy back full-time, I don't think it's necessary. All I need Yoan to do is at least hit like he did last year. If he's not gonna hit for power, at least get on base so the other guys in the lineup get a chance to drive him in.

Both Seby and Adolfo will have to go through waivers if they're DFA'd. I think the FO are definitely trying to work out a trade for both. You'd rather choose where Adolfo goes to than have him possibly get picked up by someone in the division.

You're probably right about them needing Myers even though he's overpaid. It'll be interesting to see what other prospect Minnesota gets if they do include Larnach into this deal. I have a hard time believing the Padres would give up a ton of their pitching depth for Larnach and Rogers.

I could see the Padres getting Rogers with them sending Myers and Paddack along with some money. I'm not sure why they'd have to include Larnach into the trade unless they're trying to bring back better prospects from San Diego. Rogers and Larnach for Paddack, Gore, and Pagan probably works out.
