Renteria won't make them hit any better, but I honestly feel like there's something going on in the clubhouse affecting the team. Ricky had his faults and he wouldn't be my choice to lead this team, but I think I'd take just about anyone over TLR at this point. For someone who is supposed to manage the clubhouse well and have his players ready to play, he's failing at both of those aspects right now. Throw in the weird infatuation with hitting Leury in the 2 and 3 spot and it's just too much for me.

I'd find it hard to believe that they'd fire the GM mid-season before they need to make trades at the deadline. If the team is still struggling or not playing up to their potential, I can see TLR thinking he's too old for this shit and calling it quits.

If we're .500 by the trade deadline, I bet he's gone.

Maybe if we crowd sourced it

Man I miss Ricky. At least the FO could reign him in. TLR does whatever he wants.

This should be a humbling experience for him and the team.

Has TA ever looked this bad for an extended period of time like this defensively? I don't know if I've ever seen a worse stretch by a Sox SS than this. He's making errors in just about every game on pretty routine plays.

Tony is gonna tell us his gut told him McGuire is better there.

The 2021 Sox never lost more than 5 games in a row I believe. We're probably gonna eclipse that tomorrow with Velasquez going.

This team is averaging 1 actually earned run per game over the past 4 games. Like what the fuck is going on?

The 2 leaders on this team (TA and Jose) are letting everyone down big time with their piss poor defense. There's gotta be some accountability. You'd think an experienced manager like TLR would never let his team play this kind of poor fundamental baseball.

I honestly don't have a lot of confidence in Yaz at the moment, but you have to think with his pedigree that he gets you a better result there.

You can argue if that was a strike or not, but you can't argue the 1-0 pitch on McGuire was a strike. That totally changed the AB and the inning.

Fuck this ump

Time for Burger to line it right at someone...

Fuck...

A splitter and McGuire probably Ks.

He's been hitting poorly and is a easier guy to double up. That's all I can think of.

That completely changed the AB

Ump you can't give that to him after he can't throw strikes.

lol nope.

They pitched around Vaughn.

I'd honestly walk Vaughn and face McGuire.

Up to AV.

Adam did the minimum there.
