So we went 11-6 and the Indians went 6-12. We increased our lead by 5.5 games. Indians now play a stretch of 12 games against the A's, Astros, Rays, and Cardinals. We get the Astros and Brewers with the Twins and Royals in there. Hopefully we can go at least 7-7 in that stretch and the Indians go 3-9. That'll put us 11 up on them as we go into the series against them right before the trade deadline at home.

Tigers got Ty Madden. Really good value for them at 32 when he was projected for top 15.

The biggest thing is that he's doing most of his damage against right handed pitchers. He's no longer a guy you have to protect with a platoon. Hopefully that hamstring stays healthy and he can continue his improvement at the plate.

I don't think he pitched poorly enough today for his fWAR to go under 2. That makes 4 Sox starters with an fWAR above 2 to end the first half. Rodon is the fWAR leader in the AL.
