He throws 6 pitches all at 10% or more. It's hard for hitters to know what's coming. His command has been amazing so far this year. As long as he can command the zone, his stuff is good enough to keep pitching well.

That Murakami homer has to be one of the highest launch angle homers I've ever seen. 48 degrees launch angle and only 96 MPH EV and it still traveled 380+ feet.

He's an incredible fit for what Allen wants to do with his defensive scheme. We've also upgraded our 2nd level speed by a lot this off-season. They can go get dline help in the 2nd. I like the pick a lot. You go and get the BPA at an incredible value. This guy should have been gone in the middle of the 1st. Getting him at 25 is a steal.

He projects as a good pass blocker, but not a good run blocker. He's very athletic, so you'd think the run blocking will come eventually. In a Ben Johnson scheme, he's gonna need to improve that area of his game very quickly.

Murakami might be the first hitter we've had in a while that other teams are seriously afraid of and gameplan around.

Really good west coast trip. We probably could have won all of them if the pitching wasn't absolutely awful in 2 of them.
