Game Thread: 4/23 vs Arizona (GM3)
He had periods like this last year too. He's just real streaky. But there seems to be a change in approach which is an improvement.

His entire Savant page is red for hitting. The fact that he's hitting .200 really is super unlucky. Really good BB and K rates too.

He hits the ball hard. The question is if he'll ever make enough consistent contact.

That's close to a homer in a lot of other parks.

So do the A's and Dbacks pitchers suck or did the offense just need some nicer weather to start hitting?

Houston really couldn't hit the broad side of a barn for about 90% of the game.

2026 NFL off season thread
Matt Ryan has never worked in a front office before this. Maybe he has input on big moves, but Cunningham is clearly running that front office's day to day operations. Matt Ryan has actually said that himself.

It sucks they couldn't go get someone like Decker at LT. He's probably too expensive for the cap space that is available. I am a big fan of the Bush signing. He's been great the last 2 years in Cleveland. Great run defender and good in coverage. He also adds a lot of speed to the LB corps, which is something we were badly missing last season. Seeing the deals that other ILBs signed, we got a great deal on Bush as well. I'm not sure about Coby Bryant. He played on a loaded defense last year, but he's graded out decently the past 2 seasons in Seattle. I know Byard is old and can fall off at a moment's notice, but I think I would have preferred to retain him at a lower price than spending $13 million a year on a younger, but less proven free safety. No splash moves this year kind of sucks compared to the 3 previous years, but that's just the reality of the NFL and the cap. But the moves give a pretty clear picture or what they'll target early in the draft: EDGE, DI, safety, and OT are probably the 4 biggest needs on the team.
