I don't get why the Padres are re-doing their entire catcher situation. Hedges is one of the best framers in baseball. Yeah he can't hit for shit, but neither can Castro.

Cease as the main piece for Woodruff actually makes a ton of sense for us. You upgrade your #3 spot to help in the playoffs. Cease's peripherals have been terrible, you'd basically be selling high on him right now with his nice ERA.

That's a much better use of Kopech than Lynn or Clevinger. Woodruff is under control until 2025.

Grisham's been pretty good this year.

With how good Cleveland is with pitchers, Kopech might as well be Jacob deGrom for the next 5 years with them.

We also saw what happened in his first start. Ricky learned his lesson.

I can totally see a 3 way deal where the Indians get Gallo for Clevinger and then Texas sends Clevinger elsewhere for prospects.

No he's actually below average according to UZR and DRS. That's where Robert has a huge leg up on him.

Gallo has way more value than Lynn. If we can get him and Lynn, I'd easily give up Kopech.
