This is not even remotely normal, and that's not just "the way it was". There's a gaping chasm between parents living their sports dreams through their kids, and parents being completely absent from their children's sporting events... You go to their sporting events to show your support for them and that you care. Hopefully you don't have kids, if you think never attending their games is acceptable.

The Chicago White Sox don't have a single player batting. 250+. They have just ONE player with a .700+OPS. Vaughn, at .702. This is absolutely the worst lineup ever assembled.

This team has never spent money where it counts. Why would "right now" be any different? You could take one or two of the worthless FA signings this team makes every off-season, dedicate that money to analytics and player development instead, and be a perennial playoff team in this division. Unfortunately the team is owned by a greedy, senile imbecile, who has no idea how to run a successful and competitive sports organization. I have news for JR. Perhaps this organization just sucks the life out of players? I've watched guys come to the Sox and regress or underperform for a long time now. I'm done giving them the benefit of the doubt. Everyone has worked at one of those places that is just miserable to be at.

Teams know how talented he is. His agent I'm sure talks to people around the league. There's not a person alive who doesn't understand why Robert would be playing the way he is right now. This organization is a fucking disaster. There's no trust between players and management. He wants out.
