Ha ha ha ha... The kids who didn't have fun in high school are still trying to take their shots at me. I don't know if its more funny... or pathetic. Maybe both. LOL! Gots to go get f***ed up now with those high school pals I made. Have fun with your TVs, Kemp and Spiff. Losers.

Sorry its a little early, but I'm headin out to a concert tonight (Our Lady Peace... sweet), and shuffling back to Chicago at 4 o'clock tomorrow morning and hangin' out with the folks back up home, so I probably won't have any time to sit and surf the web before I stuff myself on Thanksgivin' dinner. Just wishing everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

I didn't know Baby Boomers were big on Eminem, but like Spiff said, if they like good rap, there's no better option than Slim.

Hey, we agreed that the Redskins suck. And that the other one is a moron.

And your NOT telling me how s*** is? What a f***ing hypocrite you are! All I'm saying is that Sapp is recieving unfair heat for what he did, yet your trying to paint him as the Anti-christ for doing his damn job. Do I feel bad that a guy is seriously hurt? Yes. But this is football, where people tend to get hurt. Hell, I can't play football and baseball any more because I got thrown a cheap shot by a dick and hurt my knee and then the next spring another f***nut spiked me in the same knee and caused some super fun ligament damage. So yeah, tough guy... I kind of know what it feels like to get hurt and taken off the field in an ambulance. It's not a very pleasant experience looking at your knee bend the wrong way. And watch your mouth. Granted, I don't know what life is like on the mean streets of Westchester (or whatever assmonkey town your from), Massachusetts are like, but growing up in Chicago (yes, I grew up IN the city), I've seen my fair share of garbage I'd rather not have dealt with. But I guess it's fun being a judgmental prick over the internet, eh?

88-84. Just saying. You figure it out. But while Sapp didn't have to block Clifton, that IS what he is taught to do. Whether you like it or not. Bernstein had a good point on the Score today. If you say that that block was unnecessary, then where do you draw the line? If he is 15 yards away from the play, do you block him then? How about 10 yards? What if Brian Kelly had cut back across the field and hoped to pick up some blocks, and then was tackled by Clifton and fumbled the ball? What do you think Sapp would hear about then? Why didn't you block that guy!? I know... Tough loss to swallow... We really could have, should have... but in the end... didn't win this one. Once Robinson got heaved, I figured that would be the end of it, since Bailey and the rest of LU's backcourt coudl really run circles around us. Great game, though, and not too much shame in losing. I look forward to Loyola's visit to Carver next year. And good points. I understand that when you show the block over and over again in slow mo and you count out the yards and inches between Clifton and Kelly while the shot is paused, Sapp looks like a real piece of s***; but you don't have time to do that while playing. He did his job. Whether or not he celebrated I don't know, but if he was, I honestly doubt he was celebrating that he put one of his peers in the hospital and possibly out for the year... He's probably celebrating over lighting someone up. You can debate the "morality" of that, but anyone who's ever lit someone up on a football field knows the kind of rush you get. However, I cannot speak for Sapp, so I don't know what was going on in his mind. If he did celebrate about hurting Clifton, that's an entirely different story. I'm sorry Clifton got hurt, but this is football; not curling.

Racistly named? Come on. What? They are.

You are a dips***. Plain and simple. The guy was basically standing still, he wasn't going to make any tackle. Sapp f***ing left his feet to dive into him. If he had hit a quarterback you know he'd be fined, maybe even suspended. I don't care what your powder puff coach told you, it has nothing to do with that play. Wow, you really are thick aren't you? Why don't you go run out on a field with some other 300 pound goliaths and see how fast your brain stops working. Anyone that would know anything about actually stepping out on a field and playing the game (not just watching it on TV) would know what I'm talking about. Rule 1 on defense is hit everything.

Strap on some pads and go out there and then talk. Granted, I only played at the high school, but even then, on a turnover you hit ANYONE NOT WEARING YOUR UNIFORM. It is drilled into you from day one of defensive practice. There are specific drills ("Seek & Smash" is what our coach) designed to teach players to do exactly what Sapp did. I guarantee 100% if the tables were turned, and a Packer defensive lineman had drilled a Buccaneer offensive lineman on a pick, Sherman would have told him, "Good job." I can tell you from experience (as a safety, not a lineman, mind you), that they tell us to what Warren Sapp did. I guarantee coaches are going to show their kids that clip, point to it and say, "DO THAT!" As for the dance, I didn't see it so I can't comment on it. But the hit was clean. And good.
-
Well he didnt quite make it over to the sideline...he danced his little jig right there on the field...and then followed with these comments: Sapp did not deny that he hunted Clifton out on the play. "Yeah, I was a heat-seeking missile," Sapp said. "Boom. Boom. Boom. And I hit him." And regarding Sherman: Sapp responded afterward by suggesting Sherman cursed at him and then termed the Packers coach "a lying, s***-eating hound....If I was 25 years old and didn't have a kid and a conscience, I would have given him an ass-kicking right there at the 30-yard line." Ok wait so you need to be younger and have to personal ties to go and beat up a 55 year old guy? You're a f***ing ego-maniac asshole Sapp. No, I think he meant that as a father, he needs to at least resemble some kind of role model to his kids. Whether or not you want to argue how poor of a role model he is, I think that's his point. I think the majority of the human population could kick Mike Sherman's ass if they wanted to.
-
You're talking about Sapp right??? He's a big f***ing pussy and possibly the most overrated player in the league (next to maybe Jason Sehorn). If Sapp didn't play next to Simeon Rice he would be a bum. He's terrible against the run and takes advantage of the strength of the rest of his line to get some sacks. Yes the hit on the Packer was legal but it was 25 yards away from the play and then on top of that he was dancing and s*** while the guy was laying there without feeling in his legs and fingers. Get over yourself jackass you're the only one who wants to hear you talk. No, I'm talkin' about Sherman. Granted, I'm not defending what Sapp did, but Sherman is an idiot. That games moves so fast, you don't have time to sit down and logically think. Your taught from day 1 of your football career in Pee Wee on an interception, you hit anything not in your jersey or in zebra stripes. It's very easy, in retrospect, to break down a play in slow-mo and pick apart every single thing frame by frame. Had Sapp gone over to the sideline and danced a jig about smashing Clifton, that's another story.
-
I know Sherman is mad that his guy got hurt, but he is a FOOTBALL coach... Maybe he should stop being a little b****.
-
Good logic.... Turn down a team because they suck and go to......... another bad team.
-
Glad to hear...... I think he's got a brighter future than ur boy Hummel..... Hear anything about my Favorite Mleaguer Felix Diaz lately? He's gonna be the next Pedro ya know! Miles? Brighter future than Hummel? Isn't he like 30?

I agree... Montreal gave up a ton for Colon, they aren't going to take morons like Ginter, Majewski, etc. for him.

Any of you who still frequent WSI's Parking Lot probably already saw this, but I think it should be posted here as well, for those of you who don't.... It is that good... http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/inside_ga...illy/index.html

Ah, yes... The most anti-American statement of them all... "Love it or leave it."

And I'm sure they'll learn their lesson in a minimun-security prison full of other "white collar criminals" in quarters more luxurious than 95% of the places people "earn." Man, for a swanky pad paid for by the taxpayers of America, I'd TRY and get caught.

It peaked around here about 4:30-4:40 AM and it was unbelievable. The full moon only really covered up the faintest ones, but there were some huge (literally, the biggest and best I've ever seen) meteors. Granted, I didn't see 2,000-3,000 in the forty-five minutes or so we were out there, but I'd easily say there were somewhere around 100-200.

Hee Hee... I love that picture.
