  1. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Nov 12, 2010 -> 01:48 PM) Not to pile on, but Miami is usch a bad basketball town that they are trying to TEACH fans how to be fan: Fan Up, Miami Ha ha, that's pretty funny
  2. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 7, 2010 -> 02:50 PM) LOL at the Vikings. First and goal from the 6 and you have Adrian Peterson so lets throw the ball 4 times and not score. The Vikings would have been better off if Favre hadn't come back this year. Tavaris Jackson ain't the answer.
  3. Gould missed the FG attempt damn, Bills tie it up, f you Bears
  4. QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Nov 1, 2010 -> 06:42 PM) Gruden may be one of the worst announcers of all time. He is Al Michaels compared to Mike and Mike, now those guys SUCK.
  5. It ain't no BS, good pitching always owns good hitting...and yes, the better team won, they manhandled Texas.
  6. Would you rather have the team with the best regular season winning percentage win the championship outright ala soccer leagues in Europe rather than the playoffs? Not me. Me, I don't envy the Twins with their postseason failures...
  7. I certainly wasn't one of those who wanted Uribe gone, especially with who we got now on third...I'm happy for him and I hope he gets a second WS ring.
  8. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 29, 2010 -> 01:51 PM) Lots of talk about the fans smoking weed in the crowd during the games. I guess San Fran would be the least surprising city for it to happen. Now that's an idea I can get behind 100%
  9. Interesting article by Bill Simmons on the Heat... http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...mp;sportCat=nba
  10. Looks like those "mighty" Rangers ain't so mighty against solid pitching...GO GIANTS GO!!!
  11. QUOTE (Paint it Black @ Oct 29, 2010 -> 10:12 AM) I'm shocked that an arena rock corporate whore would jump onto any bandwagon possible. In all fairness, we all knew he was a life long Giants fan.
  12. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 10:30 PM) That would be an awfully odd choice if Texas wins in 5 ...but not so much if SF wins it all.
  13. I'm probably in the decided minority on this but I don't think Miami will win the title this year, not basing it on anything other than the fact that having great players on a team doesn't always mean they'll play great together as a team.
  14. That was funny, "wait 5 or 10 years". We could probably have year round baseball by then, even in Minnesota
  15. I think Texas will win but I hope the Giants pull it off. SF in 7.Hopefully Rowand gets some playing time, as DH maybe?
  16. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Oct 24, 2010 -> 06:20 PM) So if my my math is correct, the Giants have spent $4.25 milllion on Uribe the last two years. He's posted a combined 6.0 WAR. Mark Teahen posted a -0.2 WAR in 2008/2009. We not only trade for him but give him a two-year extension before 2010 even began. Why? Um? Well, maybe because...um? Yeah, exactly. And defensively speaking, Teahan nor Fields are not even in the same planet, forget ballpark... I would take Uribe over Teahan, Fields or Vizquel any day of the week, not even close.
  17. Who would ever predict that Uribe would win 2 games for Frisco with his bat? I'm pulling for the underdog Giants in the WS...GO GIANTS!!!
  18. QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Oct 24, 2010 -> 03:21 PM) I think Cutler is mentally broken. I wouldn't doubt it, getting sacked often because you have a s*** O line can definitly do that to you.
  19. QUOTE (bschmaranz @ Oct 23, 2010 -> 11:18 PM) Hey Wilson, Billy Mays called he wants his beard back.
  20. QUOTE (That funky motion @ Oct 24, 2010 -> 02:16 PM) That is starting to happen because the sox, have been targeting the kids. The kids can run the bases, get autographs and the fundamentals deck. I live and work in the north subs and mostly every kid, is a Sox fan. The Sox have street cred, the Cubs are for gay yuppies.
