I don't care what the Cutler apologists think, you gotta make those throws to wide open recievers... again, his f***ing mechanics are terrible,he had time to throw,f***ing Cutler -

QUOTE (knightni @ Nov 22, 2009 -> 08:42 PM) Holy s***, almost a Pick 6 on Cutler. f***ing refs are blind, that was an obvious PI,the DB pushed Olsen in the back before the ball got there. -

Oh no,its a nationally televised game today...that means the O line and WRs will be to blame for most of Cutler's INTs tonight -
I have a Fender Strat and an Ibanez...I also play some bass.

QUOTE (Felix @ Nov 19, 2009 -> 02:11 PM) How can you put AC/DC anywhere near Floyd and Zeppelin? AC/DC has some enjoyable singles, but in terms of full albums, they don't come anywhere close to Pink Floyd or Led Zeppelin. Also, I didn't have RHCP on my list because I really don't like any of their more recent stuff (I'm sorry, but Californication and By the Way were awful), but their earlier stuff deserves a mention. I'm still not as big a fan of them as most are, so they were right outside my top 20. AC/DC with Bonn Scott were classic balls to the wall rock n roll, they just didn't have a few singles...with Brian Johnson they became predictable except for Back In Black and For Those About To Rock.AC/DC are rock legends. I disagree with you on RHCP,Californication was ok but By the Way is awesome IMO.

QUOTE (Soxy @ Nov 19, 2009 -> 01:48 PM) Oh my god, I think i left RHCP off my list. Oh crap. Don't worry Soxy,RHCP were high up in my list. I know age plays a major factor in musical taste but you just gotta have bands like Pink Floyd,Led Zeppelin,AC/DC in you top 20 no matter what age you are, don't ya? I just hope the Jonas Brothers aren't on the list.

QUOTE (Felix @ Nov 19, 2009 -> 08:16 AM) Oh god... Green Day. I'm all sorts of sad right now that Soxtalk members apparently enjoy Green Day more than Talking Heads (and Pearl Jam and Soundgarden and Queens of the Stone Age and just about everyone else on this list) I know musical taste is subjective but the bands are getting progressively worse IMO,there had better be some major rock talent coming up...
-
Thats a great idea, post everyone's list so we can either congratulate or goof on said forum member. I like QOTSA and Slipknot but not enough to make me list.
-
Rise Against should not be before any of those bands there,IMO... If Deathcab For Cutie or My Chemical Romance is in this list,my opinion of SoxTalk's taste in music will be seriously damaged

Can you imagine how many HRs and RBIs AGon could have at the Cell? I just got a woody...

QUOTE (BearSox @ Jun 28, 2009 -> 07:37 PM) why??????????? What is the bigger question.... why did she have to become so ugly or why were you on perezhilton.com? WTF happened to Lohan? She used to be hot...that chick is gonna hit the wall big time by the time she's 30 judging by her recent pics.
-
3 of my fave groups are there so far,and I guess I'm in the minority to like Soundgarden more than Pearl Jam. I can't remember if I had GNR,if I didn't I just plain forgot...I bet I'm the only one who had Dio in a top 20 list :

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Nov 17, 2009 -> 01:52 AM) Was watching the Ravens/Browns game. I know the Baltimore D is good. But the Browns owe me somethin'. I don't care what it is. I'll even take an apology. They have without question the most pathetic, deplorable, inept offense I've seen in some time. 5 offensive touchdowns in their last 15 games? I want those 3+ hours back. I know we weren't as bad as these Browns but watching part of that game reminded me of some of the John Shoop/Jim Miller Bears...you guys think we suck now, those were dreadful. -
God I hope this trade happens... I wonder if CQ and AGon know each other, they are both the same age and from the same area out here in San Diego. Get it done KW

QUOTE (MHizzle85 @ Nov 16, 2009 -> 01:14 PM) I'd still of punted if I was Belichick. If Peyton's gonna beat me, he's gonna have to go the 70 or so yards to do so. Of course you gotta punt it away...maybe Manning drives them to a TD but at least you tell your defense you have confidence in them making a stop, but Belichick essentially gave his D a vote of no confidence and frankly looked like a douche going for it on 4th and 2 on your OWN 28 yard line and up by 6,I mean when is the last time you ever seen something like that?? BB is getting torched by most NFL analysts and deservedly so. -

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 11:45 PM) Rex's offensive line was vastly superior to this offensive line. It isn't even remortely close. The Bears were also really good at running the ball which obviously opens up the field a lot more for the passing games. And say what you want about Mushin Muhammad and Berrian but those guys are a much better receiving combo than anything Cutler has to work with. Those guys at least could run proper routes and had some size to help out Grossman on bad throws. I wouldn't go so far as saying that those O lines were vastly superior other than the 06/07 O line, granted he did have better recievers and rbs. I believe Cutler is the best QB we've had in decades but part of the problem is that he forces plays where there isn't a play to be made,it's ok to settle for FGs and not put our D in a bad starting position. Yeah, this team overall sucks and Cutler is a stud but he needs to stop making boneheaded decisions. -

QUOTE (Friend of Nordhagen @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 10:49 PM) No. That's just the point. It doesn't "all" fall on Cutler. But for some folks, none of it falls on Cutler. I GET that Cutler has talent. I GET that he's way down the list of problems. Turner is a dope. Angelo built the worst offensive line in the league. Forte looks slow. And the receivers are inexperienced and not so good. I don't even like Kyle Orton, unlike some wackos who make it all about him. What I'm pointing out is something different -- a very weird excuse-everything-Cutler-does mentality that has started to creep into these discussions about the Bears. He's the quarterback, and he's turned it over a lot. And some of those -- yes -- are his fault. His fault. +1 When you lead the NFL in INTs,call me crazy but at some point you GOT to blame the QB for bad decision making. When everyone was tearing Rex a new ahole for throwing picks,he also was playing behind subpar O lines and his reciever weren't TO or Randy Moss. I love Cutler and I see he is supertalented but his mechanics are awful and he missed some easy passes. Turner needs to man up and resign. -

QUOTE (Jenksy Cat @ Nov 12, 2009 -> 09:18 PM) I think the bears should be renamed the p****'s for as long as lubbie is in office. Will we ever throw the actual amount of yards we need for a 1st down? 2nd and 8? -2 yard screen. 3rd and 7? -3 yard screen. Keep it up guys, its working Maybe Turner doesnt want Cutler to try to force it in the red zone and he's calling ultra conservative pass plays Where is Olsen and Clark in the red zone??
