Which is why cheering for losses doesn’t make sense at this point in the season. Getting some wins hopefully brings the best out of these guys and stops some of the pressing.
Jack may disagree, but I think it’s clear that Lopez has a much more realistic chance of becoming a TOR starter than Giolito if he can command the fastball & get that change working consistently.
Steverson may be the bees knees for all I know, but I continue to be unimpressed with our guys approaches and the length of slumps they through at time. I worry he gives the players too much to autonomy to figure shit out themselves.
Sure, I’d part with any of those for Senzel. The problem is they’d want Cease, Dunning, + and that’s a tough pill to swallow at this point in the rebuild.
I’d sign a veteran if one is available on a short-term deal. I’m less inclined to give playing to fringe prospects once Eloy & Kopech are up and most of our top prospects are in AA and therefore not too far away.
