The Brewers have half the favorites to go 1–1 from like a year ago.

Cubs maybe? Was their first pick underslot? They still have three picks left tonight.

Bust may be too strong of a word, but I’ve been very dissapointed with his tool which was supposed to be his bread & butter.

And generally speaking I like that approach, but I also like having a diverse set of skills & talents in my system. We desperately need more high ceiling prospects IMO.

As a 24 year old with a .378 BABIP, 32.3% K rate, & no defensive value? I’d be pretty upset if that player is the comp for Walker.

Looks like the OF logjam won’t be ending anytime soon. Reallly wish we went for someone with a bit more upside there. I feel like Hostetler is never going to draft more than one prep ever again.

Fisher has been a bust, not exactly a promising comp ?

I know you and others are big on him, I wouldn’t be upset with the big although I’s love to add a high upside prep talent.

Why wouldn’t you in the minors? Absolutely nothing to lose by seeing if he can be a fringe LF.

Who are the big HS guys still available that might be targets for multi-pick teams?

So with the Rays & Royals both going over slot with their first picks, does that mean they’ll be less aggressive in the comp rounds?

I could see Gorman going to the Royals at one of their picks.

Hostetler said the depth of the draft was HS pitching and I think there will be some good arms still available at #46. Having said that, I won’t complain if a good college arm falls that far either.

Nick Hostetler specifically said that most information being shared this time of year is misdirection. I’m sure they were told something, but that dosn’t mean it was true.
